Good for drilling through sole plate

I used this tool to drill through the sole plate into a crawlspace, at the bottom of a wall, in order to install wiring to an outlet. The rod flexes just enough to allow the hole for the outlet (16 inches above the floor) to be used for access. Use your phone's camera to ensure that the drill bit is positioned correctly in the middle or at the edge (as you wish) of the sole plate, before drilling.

Sturdy tool but lacks in application.

1st use the head came off in the hole I was drilling. I checked the allen head for tightness before use and it was seated well and tight. Now I have a drill bit stuck inside the wall and have to find a way to get it out. If I can save it I'll use thread locker on the allen head bit screw and cross my fingers. I would pass on this and purchase one with the head permanently attached.

Broke first use

Tried to drill with a battery drill and it wouldn't work, so I ordered a wired hammer drill. It seemed to be working then it got stuck. Kept trying to do the in and out thing then the head broke off in the hole. Couldn't even get one full hole out of it.

Useless

Bought this in 2017. Tried to use it, lost bit in wall as hex nut cannot stand up to the torgue. Got a replacement from Eagle Tools US. Just tried it again. Lost another bit. I also bought the extensions so all money has been wasted

If your mad at your money!

This bit is garbage. Looking for a fast alternative verses Klein flex bits. This one got hot and warped on me along the bit was dual. Bought a new Klein that did the job. Waste of money.

Not worth the money

Broke with first use. Wasn't issue of head unscrewing like other reviews mentioned. Broke head off and broke shaft in the truss. Waste of money.
