It works as advertised

It does what it's supposed to do. The instructions are vague about where to connect the ground wire, but a video is available online from another supplier that shows how to do it. Installed on a 2012 Ford Edge, and the connection to the driver's side tail light was easy. Not so with the passenger side. It was impossible to feed the wiring up to the tail light, so I had to splice in wire to make the connection. The plugs could not be pulled through a very tiny space. When complete, the wiring remains inside the vehicle, so when you need to use it, it has to hang out the rear hatch. Not convenient at all and you risk damaging the wire that way. Will be purchasing additional wire and connectors so it can be passed through a grommet near the spare tire and under the vehicle to the hitch.

Works well on my 2011 Ford Edge Sport

Simple to install, lots of online videos. Only problems: - integrated sub in my car made it hard to thread the right rear cable through to the light. - Power cable should come with a stringing method (i.e. tube to help pass through parts of the frame). Was a PITA to string the cable, so I didn't and wired it to a 12V aux plug (and disabled the plug so I wouldn't overload the wire).
