Gorgeous but the wings are too fragile.

This is beautiful but the wings, which have to be attached were broken. I don't think it could withstand the elements dine the wings are not as solid as the base. So disappointed some it's so lovely.

Lovely

In two words, exquisitely beautiful. So very pleased with the look of the design, but it’s a little out of balance. The wings slide on a track on her back and is not secure. Solved this problem with a little silicone glue when putting her wings on. Also glued the base to a large rock. Makes her very secure in all kinds of weather. Pricy but glad I bought her. A great addition to the garden. Very whimsical and lovely.

I like it.

Large size. Looks great in my yard next to a rock river. My only complaint is how the wings are a separate piece and they don't connect very tightly so there is a wobble to them. Fairly minor issue but it would be better if it was molded as one piece.

Very delicate putting wings on

This is a beautiful piece as are all the ones I ordered. I love the Toscano line. However, the only negative is that sliding the wings on has to be done very carefully. The block on the piece is not reinforced so if you slide it to hard it breaks off. I had my husband glue it so as not to have to return it.

lightweight

This fairy is quite large and HOLLOW. The base is insufficiently weighted. It needs to be heavier. she doesn't fall over immediately but she's easily knocked over, especially by small animals in the yard. Also, important to pay attention to the direction of her reach...which is, as pictured, using her LEFT hand. I didn't. I intended her for the waterfall of my pond .. but reach is in the wrong direction. Update 2022...Very important to note, her wings are not a formed part of her body. They are a single separate piece and slide onto a thin bar on her back. This makes them both unstable (wobbly) and VERY fragile. They've broken twice so far. The first time was a clean break I was able to glue back together but this second time, the bar has broken off her back leaving a gaping hole where the slide bar used to be. Purchased in 2019 for $81...now listed at $126....NOT worth it!

Just What I Wanted

When I unpacked the Daydream Fairy I found her to be smaller than I expected but I was delighted with the detail. The wings are separate and attach to the back. Other comments stated that it was heavy because of the placement of the wings but on a level surface I haven't experienced that at all. They must have put her on something tilted to cause her to fall over. All in all it's a wonderful statue and I am very pleased indeed!

Loose Wings

Bought two different models and both have wing assemblies that loosely slot into a body wedged shaped key. The first model perfect as the downwards pressure keeps wings in place, but, this model there is only a slight downwards incline towards the head. So when moving this by my pond lifted head slightly, wings slid off falling the height of the model and breaking the wings. Very poor design and or no assemble hints. Hears one, fit with a small amount of contact adhesive. Sorted

Very Expensive for what it is

Totally gutted how much I spent on this garden ornament. It is much lighter in colour, whiter and less stone looking. Looks more like a fallen angel to a fairy.mmi would have sent it back if it wasn’t in such a big box. Very light in weight.

Daydreaming in the garden...

One of my favourite Toscano pieces, sits by a pool, hand in water. She gets a lot of wonderful comments and I never tire of seeing her. These sculptures are beautifully made and detailed, I especially like the fact they are not coloured, the stone look is so natural and fitting in the garden.
