Beautiful design.

Awesome design, great value, would buy these again without hesitation. The value for quality at this price point is exceptional in my opinion. I bought the package of 2, one for each side of my TV, and installed Philips Hue A19 bulbs so I could play with some color. These would best be used as accent lamps, as light shines up towards the ceiling and down towards the floor, not though the shades since they are completely black. They are not cloth, maybe ceramic, I'm not really sure. The paint could be better, but it doesn't bother me at all. They are only $60 each if you buy the pair, so I'd actually say the paint is pretty good and detailed for the price.. They look great a few feet away, so its not a big deal really. Two things I'd like to see changed: 1) Inline on/off switch on the cord is too close to the floor. I wish it was closer to the lamp, so you don't have to bend over to cycle power. 2) Not a big deal, but the shade ring size is a little bigger than the lamp it connects to. Have to kind of play with the shade for it to sit straight on the lamp.

Beautiful

I was surprised to see the Lamp Shade was actually made of the same material, either clay or ceramic. I was expecting a painted fabric. It adds to it's quality I believe. They arrived in great condition and were as expected. These lamps are to be displayed prominently in my Living Room.

Fits an egyptian themed bedroom nicely

They fit the room nicely. A tad on the smaller size so definitely better on bedroom.side tables then as a living room end table type lamp. Sister was very happy with the gift.

Shade broke off.

Everything about this lamp is beautiful and well made, and the shade is no different. But because of the weight of the shade, it snapped the metal ring holding it on. We tried hot glue first, but ultimately reattached it with Super (Gorilla) Glue. Besides that? It is a beautiful set of lamps .

These look amazing, pictures don't do them justice. Some assmbly required.

Well made, good quality material, great attention to detail. Another reviewer complained about being unstable, don't listen to their review. There is a 2 part clamping nut around the light base, you have to unscrew it, put the shade on and screw it back on. Once clamped it is one solid sturdy unit. Don't overtighten the clamping collar nut, very light hand pressure is all that is necessary.

Gorgeous lamps, definitely worth it

These are amazing, perfect size for sides of my bed and I get tons of compliments on them! Very sturdy, I have a 3yr old and they've lasted for months already despite his poking and prodding

Nice but small

Nice but small, the switch is next to the plug and that makes it kind of difficult to get to when turning on and off.
