Pretty good set for the price

Great price point. I started giving my husband haircuts with these and they are easy to use. Only problem is the scissors are borderline useless for hair. Do yourself a favor and buy another set of legit hair cutting scissors.

Excellent Hair Clipper Kit

Not bad....

I got this hair cutting machine for myself, a mid 30's male. Because i recently cut off my very long hair I've had growing for years, almost my whole adult life I had it long. But I started going bold, so I figured finally it's time. I just cut it all off and shaved my head completely. And I wanted to keep that up, but I quickly realized how not easy that is to keep up. If I shaved once a week with my good Gillette razor, my skin would be burning n sensitive for days after every time, and the shaving itself took WAY longer than I anticipated. So I'd find myself in my bathroom in front of the mirror with my arms aching, exhausted and realize I've been there like 40 minutes already. So it really just too long n too much effort to keep up. So I came here to Amazon actually to search for a electric head shaver. But I realized that would probably take almost as long, and the reviews were saying it isn't really cutting much closer than regular clippers..... So I started looking for regular clippers instead. Lol. I figured I'll try that, and if I'm very unhappy with what it leaves, I'll shave with my razor afterwards, it would make the shave way way faster n easier. So I ended up selecting this kit. Mostly cause Conair is a name I know. And after my first time using it. I didn't bother shaving afterwards, and I figured, it's so much quicker, easier, less painful, than shaving. And the results are while not exactly like a shave, more like 2 or 3 days after a shave. But good enough for me for the payoff. Now my next issue was, that now a week later, I have still very short hair, but long enough that I want it off, so I wasn't sure how the machine will handle such short hair. I of course always have it get to the shortest setting, with no attachments used.... But I wasn't sure it could cut such short hair... But I was very pleasantly surprised by how well it did. I've been using it once a week since. And it's working fantastically so far.... I'm hoping it keeps going for a while. Cause idk.. I've never had very good luck with these... This one looks good so far

Lightweight and easy to use. Not much power but it's normal for the price. Take it slow and it works just fine.

Does the job but...

I got this one to replace a conair HC950 that stopped working after 8 years. Got my HC950 at Walmart for about the same price as this model. I was really happy with my HC950 but this thing is bad. Yes it does the job but doesnt cut as well. The combs are flimsy and the clipper itself looks, sounds and feel cheap. If this is your first time buying an hair clipper, youll find it ok cause "it works" but you should really consider spending a bit more money on something better.

Works great

Conair is my go to brand when it comes to hair clippers. There are a few small changes from the last ones I bought but they are positive changes. Have tried these new ones out and I am quite pleased. The design fits comfortably in the hand, the guards attach securely and are easy to change. Will certainly purchase again !

Does not work properly. Would not buy again.

Product arrived quickly, however it has only been used 5 times for cutting adult and child hair and it has stopped working properly. Hair continues to get caught in the blades and the sharp edges have cut my sons skin on the back of his neck. He now refuses to let us cut his hair. Our last conair hair cutting kit lasted over ten years. This product is nothing like the last one. Would not buy conair again.

Great trimmer but heavy

Very nice clipper. And great for size adjustment. Can be very loud if not adjusted proper. And it’s pretty heavy!
