My son said shoelaces come off easily

Size 5 (big kid) we got didn't come with the no-tie shoelace. They're regular shoelaces and my son said these shoelaces come off easily compared to other pairs he has. He is 8 and is able to tigh the laces of his other sneakers by himself with no problem. He is annoyed by the shoe laces and doesn't like these shoes so much because of it. I think I will buy some no-tie shoelaces for this pair to solve the problem. He said they're comfortable and he likes the looking.

Sturdy little shoes and great brake pads

These lasted my son just over a year before we reordered and sized up. Ran hard and used them for brakes on his balance bike almost every day in the summer. The shoes held up through it all and only really showed signs of wear on the bottoms where he dragged them along the pavement. The sizing was a bit confusing so I ordered the first pair too big, but they were still usable from the get go so it ultimately just gave us more time before we had to replace them.

Good Quality, not great fit.

This product looked of great quality; however, they were too narrow and didn't offer 1/2 sizes.

Good shoes!

It is a well built pair of shoes. We haven’t tested the water resistance of the product yet. My child says it is comfortable. Fits true to size (kids wears a size 1.5 Nike, 2 Sketchers, I ordered these in size 2).

Only shoes son wears

The shoe is very durable, pretty waterproof, he’s gone on several miles hikes and no foot pain. If fully submerged in water they will get wet of course. We’ve purchased several of these exact shoes and the only thing I’ve had issues with is the shoes keeping shape. If your child is like mine and just pulls the shoes off without untying them they tend to lose shape and are not as supportive but as long as they are tied and tightened properly they are fine. They fit pretty true to size, they can appear a little wide but you definitely want a little room for socks and foot swelling when going on long hikes.

Pretty good so far!

Heading to Peru and I hear it is BEST to get a hiking shoe. I couldn't find a women's hiking shoe that fit so I opted for a kids shoe (cheaper!). I am now walking around stormin' Seattle pavements and dog parks in preparation. I don't think these needed to be broken in and I have been pretty comfortable trekking around in these. The treads has gripped the ground and I feel great in them. The drop in star is the super stiff laces. I am a grown woman and I have to pull fairly hard to tighten this shoe and tie into a bow. I am pretty sure that the kids would just tie loosely and go. I wear a 2.5/3 in kids and 4 - 5 in womens (depending on the brand). I have a size 3 in these and it has worked out great.

Perfect and highly recommend it to everyone

My nephew loved them my sister told him they were waterproof and he was like they fit good too lol ???? then he walks over to his older brother and his dad and says guess what and they said what and he said my shoes are waterproof ???????????? soo cute he absolutely loves them and didn't want to even take them off to go to sleep lol???????????? I highly recommend these shoes his face was lit up and was so happy it was so worth the money ???????????? it made my heart feel warm and even made me happy to see how happy he was and his reaction spoke higher than words them self????????????????????????

Not waterproof

Where the shoe meets the rubber sole might be waterproof but the meshy area above the toes is not. My son wears these at school and whenever it's raining at recess or the grass is wet he comes home with wet feet. The only reason I spent $50 on shoes for a 5 yr old is because he needed a non-rainboot, waterproof option which these are not.

Light trainer but with good ‘grip’ sole. Spit on fit and no problems on first time wearing.
