Fits great in a youth mask!

My 9yo son doesn't like wearing sunglasses under his mask. This fits well in his Champion mask. Seems that as long as the forehead pad attaches with 3 straps it would fit in any mask. Otherwise, zip ties should do the trick.

Effective, Inexpensive, & Unobtrusive

Honestly didn’t even know about these until my son’s Little League team went to State and plate ump had one. Whaddya know, the one for a Champro mask is less than 5 bucks. Score! Took a sec to figure out how to install, but isn’t that difficult. Upper pad doesn’t even have to come all the way off...just the center Velcro strap to feed through slot in shield. It’s dark/mirrored (think sunglasses). I had an evening game last week and sun was behind the trees and I just left it on, but taking it off wouldn’t have taken long. Great item, great price. Don’t do a ton of day games but while I do this will be well worth it.

It is not noticed

Sun visors are questioned as really needed. As someone who uses a visor I find it difficult to go behind the plate without it. I is barely noticeable until you don't have it. It blocks out just a little of the glare that makes seeing the pitch clearly. Not everyone agrees but I won't call without it.
