Didn’t work for what I intended

So I bought this as a second spare holder for our camper but it sat too low. I ended up using it as the spare tire holder for my enclosed trailer instead. Worked perfect for that. Mounted easily to the front of the trailer. Very pleased even though I couldn’t use it for intended purpose.

works great but the bolt only go on one whole on my rim the bottom one don't line up at all I had to rig up something but I have a bigger lug pattern for my trailer

Good spare tire mount for travel trailer.

A versitile trailer spare tire mount.

I have an open utility trailer and two spare tires. I made mounts that attached to the outside trailer walls from pressure treated wood. They weren't bad. They were strong and solid but only lasted a few years. So, I wanted something more permanent and more resistant to the corrosive environment of south Florida. I settled on the Eaz-Lift mount. It had sufficient hardware for me to attach the mount to a side wall from the inside. I even used the backing plate for the carriage bolts. It took a little finagling to get everything positioned correctly, but it worked beautifully. This mount is well made. The welds are very well done. The only thing I don't like about this mount is the 1/2" carriage bolts used to secure the wheel rim to the mount are loose, i.e. they are not stationary. I can see them getting misplaced in changing a tire at night. I knew this before I bought the mount. I tried using a nut to attach the bolt in place, but the spare was not as stable as I'd like. I'll try using JB Weld on the 1/2" bolts. If that doesn't work I'll tack the bolts in place with my mig welder. This mount worked well for me. So well in fact that I bought another one for the second spare.

Giving it the (30day) trial BUT it's already showing defects.

01/27/2022: I went straight to the negative reviews on this product to view the worse case scenarios but decided to give it a shot for $50 and hopefully not lose my spare tire on the road like some others that gave it a 1 star. Out of the box the bolt-on Spare tire carrier looked solid enough. When I went to install it, the bar brackets started to peel and bend with just tightening the nut/washer to the point where the split ring washer was compressed (which you should do to avoid overtightening and the nut will hold due to the friction of the compression washer) so it wasn't over tighten by any means so I'm chucking this up to the Metal quality. After Install, the Spare is sitting comfy on the A-frame of the trailer and I gave it the good ol' Push/Pull/Tug "That ain't going no where" Check. I'll be updating my review once I come closer to the 30day or if it fails past that time. Hopefully the brackets don't bend more or SNAP or have the tube that's holding up my spare tire snap due to vibrations or whatever the defect should be.

Very solid construction. Largest bolts were too short for 4” box bumper. I had to use ones I had in the garage.

Very sturdy

This was perfect for my boat trailer. Well constructed and easy to install. Came with carriage bolts for both 4" and 2" thickness. The 2" served my needs for a boat trailer. I would recommend.

Solid construction. Price is a little higher than is was originally (it went up but...)

It was listed at around 40 dollars but went up just before I bought it. The product is good though. It fits the trailer well and keeps the tire out of the way. Thank you Amazon!
