This wig rocks!

This is an awesome wig. There really is nothing to complain about. Yes, it sheds a little hair as you are getting it in shape, but you know, that happens with real hair as well - have a brush full of hair every time I do my kids' hair. I was worried about getting the thing to poof up good since it does come rather compressed, but it's a real easy process: stick your fingers into a wave of compressed hair and kinda work it apart as you pull it out. No need for a comb or brush or anything, that will guarantee massive hair loss I'm sure. Just use your fingers, and hold the wig upside down as you do it. If you have ever dealt with super curly hair (and I realize many people haven't), it's not really any different than how you would get the kinks out. I deal with this daily with my girls. The more you work out the "kinks", the bigger this thing grows. Give it maybe a 10-15-minute workout and your good to go. I have a big head, but it fits great (snug, but just fine). And it looks ridiculous, just what the doctor ordered. I haven't shown it to anyone yet, but I am definitely going to pop it on for some of my youtube videos. I guess for this to be a truly good review I need to go ahead and don the wig and put up a selfie. Yes, you are the first people to see me with this on, so you should feel honored. Don't think I can do this without sunglasses...

Big

This is a big wig that I had to cut down for my boyfriend. The curls are very defined out the package, but if you manipulate it and pull at it it becomes more of a natural. All in all its for a70s party and it will fit the bill.

Love it!

This wig is awesome, it came earlier than I expected. It does come flat so you will have to poof it out a bit, I noticed that some reviews here about the wig shedding hair and that it is more curly than Afro like. Please understand that this is a synthetic wig and just like any other wig synthetic or human, you have to style it to fit you. It is not a ready made Afro. In my pictures below I styled it and cut it to my desired shape and look, it turned out great! and it only took about 10 minutes to do it. I would highly recommend this product.

it felt like I had two cats on my head

Felt true to size, if that makes sense at all. A real head turner. It kept my head warm while drinking at night outdoors. Indoors at room temperature, it felt like I had two cats on my head. So hot. Also, it arrived matted and stuffed in a bag. I had to attempt to pick it out. Guess what? I'm a white dude, I don't own a pick. That was the only downside. Regardless of this long winded review, I advise you lay down the ten bucks or whatever and get an Afro wig because Afro wigs=instant good times.

Good price and can be worn more then once

I bought this wig for my sister's disco birthday party and it was a hit. I can only give one con over the purchase. The previouse reviewer said it was easy to style with a pick, I found that it needed a little more styling then that. I did not use hairspray, but I did wear it backwards from were the label is applied. It was pretty smashed when I received it and took some time to fluff it up. Looked great in about 10 minutes and I got lots of compliments on my foxy look.

Don’t get this if you don’t want attention.

I bought this for a company retro 70s party. Paired with a vintage Pink Floyd shirt and army jacket, it made a great 70s costume. The wig came in a small bag, but when I pulled it out and fluffed it up it was very large. It was comfortable and stayed in place, just allow a little bit of time to fluff it up.

Perfect addition to a 70's vibe birthday party.

Amazing product!! Fit perfectly. Soft. Didn't lose much hair at all, gently combing it out with a pick comb. Highly recommend.

It’s a great product. Could be less lose. It should be more tight fitting especially since I have a small head.
