A bit too large and we found it cumbersome
My grandsons and the whole family love Brio train sets etc. This piece however, was too cumbersome and the individual doors didn't open smoothly. My grandson played with it for a very short time, then abandoned it. We returned it and Amazon was awesome with the ease of return and refund.

Larger than expected!
My 5yr old son has my husbands Brio set from when he was a child. Most of the Brio items we’ve purchased recently seem cheaply made- lots of plastic rather than wood like they used to use. My son begged for this train house- and loves playing with it. The house is much larger than I anticipated! Seems to be well built. I waited for a sale to purchase, as this is way over priced in my opinion.

Not wrapped - disappointed
The product is good. However, Amazon didn't bother to pack it correctly and it was left in the original box at the front door, where it was found by a birthday boy several days ahead of the birthday date. Not cool, Amazon.

the kit was understaffed
the depot itself is of excellent quality, but took off two stars for the fact that the goods came under-stocked. there was no turning base, there was no sense from the depot itself. had to order a new one. the child was very upset, especially since it was a gift.

Helps with clean up!
Just what you would expect from Brio. Expensive yet quality. A nice addition to a set once you have a lot of engines and tracks. Helps with clean up as all the engines need to return to the roundhouse at night!

A great engine shed holding lots of trains
Our 3 year old grandson loves this shed and plays with it every day. It is not cheap to buy, but is well made and robust.
