Did exactly what it needed to do
Paired this with a Dewalt rotary hammer and removed thinset from ~600 sq ft of concrete sub floor. The wide bit is a must. It’s still hard work, but these tools made it doable.

Love it and it’s a lifesaver
I used this to remove glued down plywood over my 125 year old hardwood floors and it removed it with very minimal damage in only a few soft areas of the floor. Saves me tons of time and my sanity. Did a great job of removing linoleum tiles in one small section as well. I bought a spare blade but I didn’t need it but I’ll be keeping it as I have a bathroom demo coming up as well. Best thing I ever bought.

fast work
Project: 5x6 , 30 sf, bathroom floor 12 " tile on concrete slab time to remove tile: 20 minutes (removed and loaded into truck) time to remove mortar: 2 hours (note I believe there were two layers of mortar Commentary: I did a larger bathroom two years ago and it took me three days due to using a flat chisel instead of blade This tool made this job go quickly The screws did not loosen as reported with other brands that were reviewed. I like the longer shank so I did not have to perform the work on my knees. This blade is more expensive than others on Amazon, but it performed flawlessly

PLOWED RIGHT THROUGH OLD THINSET IN ONE PASS!!! I'm an average DIYer. Had a Bosch Bulldog for many years. Used mostly for drilling. Although I have used it with a narrow 1 piece chisel bit to remove ceramic tile, etc. from concrete floors. Took hours to clear the thin set in small rooms. Bought this 5" Bosch for a bathroom. Delivered 1 hour ago. I am finished. Decided to pay for the Bosch versus the half-price ones based on reviews of breakage. Have a very bad lower back, so splurged on this chisel. Wish I had years ago!

Much better than the cheap scrapers
After going through two of the cheaper sds scraper bits I picked up this one. Honestly it works the same, just holds together longer.

Sturdy piece of kit

Excellent at removing tile glue
We are installing new floors on a concrete slab. Used this one blade on an SDS+ hammer drill to remove 60m2 of tule glue after busting up the tiles with a regular chisel. Left the concrete beneath in near perfect condition and required only minimal grinding before applying skimcoat. Around 6-8 hours worth of floor scraping and the blade was still in decent condition. Be sure to switch the side of the blade you are using every so often.

Got the tile removal job done in record time. It was a little expensive but when it arrived I could tell that this took will last a while
