Does a great job!

This steamer did exactly what I needed it to do. I ordered a chiffon dress with a cover-up for a wedding, and the dress arrived pretty wrinkled after being shipped in such a tiny package. I knew not to try ironing it, and I didn't want to pay the cleaners to do it. This Black and Decker steamer was inexpensive but had good reviews, so I purchased it. It was easy to use and melted the wrinkles away. I may never pull out my iron again!

Very effective!

This steamer works really well. I used it on all of the bridesmaids dresses for my daughters wedding and it made quick work of getting all of the wrinkles out. Super easy to use and quick.

Easy Fixing of Major Wrinkles

If you're like me and are somehow terrible at ironing despite practicing, and need a generally wrinkle free shirt, this is probably your best option. Using other steamers has not gone well for me. Very simple to use, following the manufacturer directions yields good results. Minimal drippage and never had an issue in the 6+ months I've used it I hang up shirts on my door hanger and use one hand to maneuver the shirt and the other to steam. Starting with one sleeve then making my way across the shirt, flipping to the back if needed. Keep the fabric flat but don't pull too tight otherwise you'll make creases. It won't get out very small "micro-wrinkles" like an iron will, but takes care of the major stuff. You may find it helps remove wrinkles better with an ironing glove or press pad to be able to apply pressure to the fabric. I wouldn't go so far as to say this is travel friendly unless you have a large suitcase, but I guess it beats having wrinkled shirts. In the photos I left this shirt crumpled up in the dryer instead of hanging it up.

Doesn’t have ceramic plate but works well

**update** turns out you can clean out steamers with a simple vinegar solution- that took the smell away completely. I’m still sad it doesn’t have the ceramic plate but it works well enough. Cleaning it out also seemed to reduce the spitting tho that still happens. So I added back a star. First review (3 stars): I ordered this thinking it had a ceramic plate but it doesn’t, it’s just plastic. So that’s disappointment #1. #2 is that it spits a lot. #3 is that the cord, while nice and long, is too long at 15 feet and is annoying to keep wrapping up. #4 and prob the 2nd biggest disappointment is that it came with a funky mildewy smell like when things are wet for too long. It made my things stink. I should’ve returned it immediately but some things came up and now it’s too late. I wouldn’t buy this again. I went for the brand name so that it would last but that doesn’t matter.

Great for daily use

Easy to use. Love the lock feature so it continuously steams. Attachments are nice for delicate fabrics. Used for bridesmaid dresses for a wedding now use during week to keep clothes wrinkle free. Works well. Does not leak. Only negative is it is difficult to get the remaining water out of the tank. Too bulky for travel but that wasn’t my intention anyways.
