For very small above ground pools

This pump is very quiet and love the timer on it but it did not clean our Bestway above ground 3500 gal pool. Had to order a bigger pump. Just didnt do the trick.

Had to replace cause I left it on over the winter and it froze and brunt the motor out so I’m happy that I have a new one that’s working perfectly

Great flow, terrible connections

I've used this pump for about 3 weeks now. The flow has been great for our 5,000 gal pool, and performed mich better than the last one. A few days ago, I noticed a leak coming from the jet connection. When I unscrewed it, I noticed that the threads were warped. Fortunately, I had a backup, which has reaolved the issue. A couple of days later, I walked to the pump to find a large pool of water on the ground. Now my Y-splitter is leaking on one of the threads. No matter how tight the fitting is, it still leaks. I'm now having to figure out a DIY solution to correct the leak. The fittings are incredibly cheaply made. If you get this pump, plan on having to fix leaky fittings.

Great Replacement Pump

** READ about the GFI, in my CONS section. ** This pump was nearly an exact match for my Coleman Swim Vista 18' x 48" pool, which i purchased in 2020. If figure the these pools last for about 5 years, so i feel this is a good replacement investment. This design is a little different, so i am hopeful the impeller holds up better with this 1500 GPH pump, as opposed to the one Coleman sold with their pool. Pro's: Lines - Comes with the 2 translucent pool intake lines, also the 2 white pump lines with their seals. Accessories - Comes with new screw clamps, a filter, pre-filters, and even some replacement connectors! FYI: Does not come with a replacement in-line shut-off valve. You will have to replace that separate, should you require one. Con's: Accessories - Would have been nice to have received the 3 black plugs, which stop water flow to the pump. GFI - What the heck? The original stock pump had a RESET/ON & an OFF. This one has an OFF button, as well as a RESET. BUT, the ON button is a TIMER! Selections are 2Hrs; 4Hrs; 6Hrs; 8Hrs; 10Hrs Why? Why those 5 selections? If you have to have 5, might i suggest 12Hrs; 24Hrs; 36 Hrs; 48Hrs; Always ON What is the purpose of a timer & Who runs their pool filtration pump for those length of hours? These pumps have to run long hours to keep the water free of contaminates. If you work, good luck starting the pump before you leave, then returning home to a running system. If the TIMER was Removed, OR, Replaced with the suggestions above. You would have a 5 STAR product. Good Pump Easy Replacement Great Value ...bad GFI design... Let me know if there is ANY way to BYPASS the TIMER "feature", and i will change my rating to a 5-star. Otherwise, i will have to spend additional time & money, to make a minor (snip/strip/attach) modification. Only to plug it into my (already existing) Outdoor GFI receptacle.

Keeping my pool clean!

This is a great pump for my pool. My original one just stopped working so I had to get another in time for summer. I was able to find an identical one on Amazon and it’s working great.

AWESOME product but cracked during severe weather

Product worked GREAT!!! Purchased in September of 2022. Unfortunately we had a spell of extreme weather in Texas in December and it cracked the machine. A warranty was not offered at the time of purchase from what I can remember. Been trying to contact the manufacturer to see if they have any refurbished units I can purchase. $145 for less than 4 months hurts :(.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE PRODUCT, BLOWS VACUUMED DIRT BACK IN POOL!!! DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!

Bought this May 26,2022 from Amazon. It is just garbage. It blows all the dirt from vacuuming back into your pool. I followed instructions exactly, put in a brand new filter and still the same. Says it has a 1 year warranty but the claim site is a big run-around and it will not let me submit anything at all. Unless you put in a serial number it will not accept a claim and this has no visible serial number. There is no support phone number anywhere. $185 piece of junk. I feel totally ripped off!

Not the best pump

I had high hopes for this pump and have been disappointed. First off the suction is no better than the smaller pump that originally came with the pool. The pumps plug trips every time my timer turns off, so it’s basically useless if you want to use it with a timer. I wouldn’t return this pump in a heart beat if I could and look for something better.

Best upgrade for your small pool

Only two weeks in.. But I bought this for my 8' summer waves pool since the pump it came with was trash. I know it's 3x the power of the original but having had a full size pool before, I welcome it. So far so good! I'll maybe come back and update this if anything changes but I'm loving it. Dropped it in, no changes to pool fittings.

La bomba funcionó al principio y después ya no ya no arrancó el motor. Vivo en la Ciudad de México y no hay quien la pueda reparar, por lo Pronto no hay ningún servicio al cliente mi garantía ya expiró por amazon Fue de 30 días, la recibí el 22 de Mayo dejó de funcionar a finales de junio… y no puedo hacer ya nada, me gustaría me dijeran a dónde puedo llevarla a reparar. Gracias

Poor performance pump but good distribution seller.

Very disappointed in this pump. More noise than suction. This has no reflection on the distribution centre that sent it, they were very accommodating Thank you distribution elm for all your help in sorting this out. .
