Break Easily

I live in a 100+ year old house, so things get drafty! While weather proofing I decided to use these to latch my windows and while lovely to look at, they break easily. I initially thought it was my contractors (big burly crew), only to find out it is in fact the product. Of the sets I ordered, 3 broke during install. Again, lovely to look at, but the latch portion will easily separate.

Why do the locks look amazing? Their quality is good enough to do the job for that price : But don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I wouldn't buy it again

Fine for the money

Bought them only for the latches. Had a bunch of old windows that needed the locking latches. These worked fine

Broke after two months

The latch and the mount to the window are not securely attached to one another. Came apart after two months. Look elsewhere.

A Good Choice

Appears to be well made. Looks great, and very thoughtful, to include three different keeper/latch styles, to make sure the job gets done.

cheap

I ordered this set after one of our broke after 15 years. These were only on for 3 weeks and one broke off the first time we opened it today. Very disappointed. Why do they make things so cheap these days? I ordered another set hoping the first one was defective as they are difficult to find. Even worse. After 1 week it just fell to the ground (broke off) while we were watching TV. No one was even near it.

Don't buy

What a piece of junk. This thing broke before I ever got it installed. Description says polished brass. It's made out of white pot metal. Look at it wrong and it breaks.

These things are junk.

Purchased four of these to replace 35 year old latches. In less than a month two have failed. The latch comes off in your hand when opening the window.
