love them

Favorite brand of shoe. I can generally always count on their fit. I have and have had a least a dozen pairs of different styles over the years. Ordered the 8.5 2E. They fit perfectly. Comfy. I have wide feet coupled with some joint damage in the toes and these are perfect. No complaints or regrets.

Comfortable, but comes apart

I realized shortly after writing a glowing review, that the shoes are coming apart. I took a shoe off to see why there was some kind of small bump on the inside. Upon inspection I found the bottom separating from the top. I then took the other shoe off, and the same thing is happening, but to a much larger degree. I am unable to return them since it has been two months, so I emailed New Balance in hopes of a resolve. I'll update my review accordingly. edit 1/4/15: New Balance had me contact Amazon. Via chat I let an Amazon rep know of my issue. They send an overnight advance replacement. I hope these last longer than a couple of months. edit: 1/26/15: I have a black and brown pair of these. One of the side "buttons" of the black one came off. Amazon took it back and a refund is pending. Updating review from one to three stars to help balance out the situation. The Brown ones so far are a winner. The black ones are a loss, twice. The brown pair are actually more comfortable and seem to mold better to my feet. I would dare to say they are made out of a different material. I even wear them with orthotics (thick ones from my podiatrist) and have no issues so far. Pro: Overall very very comfortable. Good for office wear and orthotics. Con: Black ones can't seem to stay together.

Too Big

Had to buy an insole for it to work comfortable for me. But its real leather and it looks good with my pants

Stylish Shoes

I love everything about thise shoes. The fit is good, they are comfortable, and the 3 colors are very attractive, getting away from the "gramma black" shoes. As soon as I saw these, I knew they were what I wanted. It's always a plus when I can find a narrow shoe also!

A tiny bit longer than the norm

These run a bit long but with an extra thick sock fit. They are roomy in the rest of the shoe and comfortable. I have to use inserts so I can not judge them with the ones that come with the shoe. I've worn a size 6 my entire adult life and as I stated, the only negative is the itsy bitsy extra length in the shoe but I still enjoy wearing them

Hard working shoe

This is my second pair. Good looking shoe, comfortable, can wear all day and my feet and legs are never hurting or tired. Great shoe! This is my buy forever shoe!

Needs more room in the toe box

I bought these because my first pair of Aravon shoes were very, very comfortable but I was disappointed in this style. They fit as far as width and length and are comfortable for short periods of time. After wearing all day at work, however, I find that the top presses down on my toes and they become very uncomfortable. I mistakenly wore them two days in a row a few weeks ago and by the end of the second day my toes were numb and remained numb and tingling for several days. So, okay for short periods of time but they need to have more room in the toe box in order to be able to wear for long periods of time. Unfortunate.

Wonderful-no pinch or awkward rubbing, delightful surprise!

It is exactly like it says. Comfortable right out of the box. I wanted to “break them in” only I forgot after an hour to take them off. I wore them all day in comfort.

Fit small

Beautiful, comfortable shoes, I just find them to fit small compared to other Aravon shoes I have.
