Silky but not at all oily

This shampoo is really special! It has a beautiful scent, and it leaves my hair silky but not at all oily. I am now buying it in the larger, 32 oz. size, which is a good value. Thank you, Alba Botanica, for creating this!

Makes my hair greasy and heavy

Still getting used to it but my hair feels greasy and heavy. I only use the shampoo in my roots and scalp, conditioner on the tips and yet it weighs my hair down like crazy. If I swear it seems to absorb it. I can't return so I'll be using for a long time but I'll need quite a bit of dry shampoo.

Great product but poor packaging

I love this shampoo and conditioner but no longer found it on the shelves at the store. This larger pump bottle is a way better value! I was disappointed in how I received it, however. The mailing carton was almost entirely open and crushed somewhat. Inside the conditioner was well packaged but the shampoo was not.. The shampoo pump was in the up position and had leaked inside the Martin. The bubble wrap was totally deflated. Good product, but was not packaged adequately for shipping.

My go to shampoo

I absolutely love this shampoo. It smells good, and it makes my hair feel amazing. I go two days between washes due to my career. Including photo of my hair so you can see the shine. 10/10 recommend!

It caused dandruff, may be too drying for some…

I like this brand and this is the first time I use their shampoo. This one I really wanted to like, but after the first day of use (I used in the morning) I had dandruff developed by evening. I do not struggle with dandruff, so this was quite shocking. I think it could be too drying for my scalp. Whatever the case, I will not be keeping it as it lost it’s value for me.

Leaked before delivery and pump doesn’t work

One would think Alba would put a seal over the top of this container along with a different lid so the shampoo wouldn’t leak. My first order was cancelled by Amazon because something happened during shipping that made it undeliverable. My guess is the first bottle leaked. This was my second order, and shampoo was everywhere within the plastic wrap. The cap was not screwed on well, which I thought was maybe why it leaked. It turns out the pump is broken. Should I return the bottle or buy a container in which to pour the shampoo so I can use it? Alba could do better!

Gorgeous smell

Smells amazing and leaves my hair very soft and silky. Definitely feels better being paraben free.

Okay but used better

The smell is great and it has a heady lather but it doesn't do much else for my hair. May use for body wash or to shampoo my guinea pigs.

Nothing to it

Beautiful natural fragrance of gardenias. For people who like a strong fragrance it takes you away to sunny days in the tropics and leaves your hair soft shiny and manageable. Use with gardenia conditioner for the full experience

Best Shampoo I've Used!!

This shampoo and the same conditioner works great, smells amazing, and is all natural! Yes it is more expensive then most, but I find the bottle still lasts me over a month. Great service by amazon as well, delivered next day :)
