Works for powder laundry detergent
During the process of changing from liquid/pods to powder detergent I was in search of an option to dispense the powder in measured increments with my front loading stacked set. Buying the club sized box of powder detergent makes it difficult and cumbersome to retrieve and use when it is on top of the dryer 7ft up for all the users that are not 6ft men. Putting the detergent box on the floor was not an option. Many reviewers of the usual laundry related dispensers complain that they do not work the best for powder detergent. After reading the reviews on this dispenser I decided to give it a try. Being wall mounted, removable, and with an attached cup are what sold me. I never seen drywall anchors like the ones that came with this, do yourself a favor and throw them away. I was going to fill this with powder and decided to use better screws than came with it and mounted it in a stud. Probably because it has a bit of weight in it, the mount arms do not provide a ton of confidence. The mount doesn't hold as firmly as I would like, and removing the cup I feel more confident using a second hand to hold the container steady when removing the cup. Aside from that it works like a charm. I converted levels of the powder detergent cup to markings on the measuring cup. One turn for small/medium loads and two turns for large/full loads. Because the cup attaches it is ok if any powder seeps past the blade, but the blade is flexible so it does a good job of sealing. Being able to remove the container easily, and its ability to stand up with the cup attached make it a cinch to fill. I'm not sure how it works with food related items, but I am happy with it for my needs.

Three years later we still love it!
Still going on third year of regular use. The little plastic cup finally broke on the second year after repeatedly been dropped. Easy to clean, install, and daily use.

Love the idea
Love the shape and accessibility of this for my 5 year old son. The attachment device is very loose and the canister could easily be taken out of the holding mechanism. If there were some sort of circumferential attachment I think that would solve the problem but overall it is working for us. It is smaller than envisioned but I only need to refill every 4ish days. Still worth it for some independence.

Hardware wasn’t included. No screws to mount. A bit fragile. Clams aren’t very tight

OK Outdoor Pond Fish Food Dispenser
I will buy another of these to replace the one that wore out after ~18mos. The wheel flaps eventually become very brittle - might be because of UV exposure. I use it for fish food pellets. This keeps them dry most of the time. Occasionally it attracted slugs but no ants yet. Rare moisture drip inside can make for mold, easily cleaned and reset. Dogs eventually learn to tap it for more “treats”. I would like something more purpose built but haven’t found anything better.

Wish they were sturdier
These are okay, I wish they clipped into the mounted holder a bit more securely. I did what other reviewers suggested and bent the mount inwards, which helped a little, but for some reason they just don’t stay clicked in as well as they do when they aren’t mounted. Only holds about half a box of cereal

Ordered 2 and they both were cracked
Top of both containers had a crack that spider webbed down. It doesn't seem to affect usage but I did use glue to see if that helped. It didnt do anything. I couldnt get it in the crack. It was inside the plastic. I plan on using them as sunflower seed dispenser for softball team in dugout

Nice for Cereal
I bought this single unit before investing the extra money in the 3 unit model. I have 2 boys, ages 6 and 2, who are big cereal eaters. However, my 2 year old picks what he wants based on the box and then often refuses it when he sees what the cereal actually is. With this dispenser, he can see exactly what he is getting and he enjoys turning the knob himself to get his cereal. The only thing is that I have to make sure he has a snack bag/bowl underneath before he starts turning the knob! This is smaller, which is perfect for the space we have. So, it will not fit an entire cereal box inside, but it's not a big deal to me. I can just pour the rest inside after a day or two. I can't speak for longevity because we have only had it for a couple days now, but so far it's working great for the Trix cereal that is in it. I wasn't sure how my husband was going to feel about it, but he actually told me to get a couple more. So, I'll be ordering the 3 unit model soon. The kids like variety and they'll be able to pick which cereal they want. I can see how this would also be nice for candy/snacks in a rec room. That is, as long as your kids won't empty the entire container in one night. :)

Great concept, bracket could be stronger.
This idea is a great one but you can't load it with anything too heavy as the bracket isn't right enough to keep the full container up. I ended up putting oats in it and it stays up most of the time but you have to be very delicate or it slips down. It stays upright so it doesn't dump over, but generally the cup secured to the bottom will pop off after it slides and spill any contents that comes out of the bottom of the container.
