Light weight and powerful cordless drill

I bought the drill since I have the cordless Worx chainsaw which I love. The drill is very light, yet powerful. It's awesome that I can use the battery from my chainsaw as a spare and vice versa.

An excellent drill for the money and extra batteries are sold at a reasonable price! You can't go wrong with this drill! I am replacing all my cordless tools to WORX...!

delivered missing a piece

A compact, basic drill. I'm deduction some because it was delivered by Amazon missing its belt clip. While not a critical piece a new drill should be complete and it was not. The battery came fully charged. Its design is OK but could be improved by adding a magnet to hold loose screws and adding a bubble level. I will update this review later if I see other flaws.

Very nice drill for the cost! Has completed many tasks around the house!

This is a really nice drill for the cost in every way. It performs better than one I bought at Lowes which cost more than this one. This drill has very good torque and hardly ever slips. The weight it has can be used to complete any task, is very appropriate and I'd lightweight to use. Very highly recommended!

Easy to Carry Into Strange Worksites

I had the opportunity to test this drill out about 20' in the air. I decided to bring this drill along for three important reasons: It was lightweight, it was cordless, and I could use it as a driver too. Having the belt loop hook was a huge importance for this task as well! It is compact, lightweight, and even has a small LED light. The variable speed trigger really helps when applying this drill to multiple situations. These critical features made it perfect 20' in the air without access to many options since I couldn't carry much with me and had to hold the equipment I was mounting in the air too! It would have been a huge benefit if it had a magnet or some sort of bit storage so it would have made changing bits out in the air a little easier. The keyless chuck really comes to assistance in this situation, though as I could just twist it, lock my bit in, and keep working. The overall design is a little clunky for a entry-level namebrand tool. You would expect the engineering to be fairly concrete to back their namesake, but I found some things odd where I thought it should behave differently. The shaft was barely long enough to comfortably fit my hand - I could feel the drill body and battery slot pressing against both sides of my hand. The battery itself took a little bit of force to either remove or install, but stayed in place properly when installed. The channels on the keyless chuck are spaced out a little awkwardly and it makes gripping it feel strange when changing bits and difficult to get a good solid grip. The charger is nice. I do not fully understand the "Power Share" bit, but it is nice to just slide it onto the battery and plug it into the wall. It's nicer than some of the other drills out there that just plug a standard power plug into the battery and feel poorly connected when charging. Needless to say, I like this drill. The shank appears balanced and holes are straight. However, I am not sure the price is warranted for this particular drill. I find it accommodating, but there may be other options in this price range that offer a bit more.

This drill has a 3/8 chuck.

I’ve had better drills from dewalt and Metabo, I’m not going to say that this drill is as good as those but it is very good for the price. This particular drill has a 3/8 chuck instead of the common 1/2 chuck. The smaller chuck complements the small body of the drill which makes it very compact. Despite being small it still seems to have plenty of power. I’ve been using the drill on wood screws and to drill holes on wood and it’s been working perfectly fine so far. I also used it to clean my shower using a drill brush head which needs continuous power and it also got the job done, the dual speed comes in very handy when doing such jobs. My favorite thing about the drill is that it’s very lightweight, this is the reason why I’ve been grabbing it over my Metabo since I got it. The only minor downside it has is that the battery doesn’t have a power indicator so you don’t really know how much juice it has left. I believe these have exchangeable batteries so if you happen to have a compatible battery with a built in indicator then it should work. I also see people complaining about it not having a bag but these bags are super inexpensive, I put my drill inside a small craftsman bag that cost me about five bucks and it fit like a glove. Overall this drill is very nice especially for the price, it uses a 3/8 chuck so i would consider it light to mid duty. It can be used with brush attachments or small diameter foam pads, for screws and to drill holes with bits that fit the chuck, if a bit is larger then it’s probably meant for heavy duty drills. Worx to me is a decent budget brand comparable to hyper tough, black and decker, kobalt or husky and HF, I have a worx buffer that I got years ago and it still works perfectly fine so I do like the brand.

Worked as expected

This drill/driver came with a battery, charger, belt hook, and double-ended bit. The drill/driver was not heavy, which made it more comfortable for me to use. I found the LED lighting on it to be particularly convenient. There were twenty plus one clutch settings and two-speed gearing. Overall, this drill/driver worked as expected. I used it for light home projects and found it to be powerful enough.
