Cheap hammer for a very low price

For the price I can't complain. the peen is very poorly finished, but the rest of the hammer is fine and I do have a grinder so I can fix it.

my lil hammer

Purchased this for a great price new. Im worried that the long term durability will not hold. So this small hammer head has become apart of my household tools, it will only be used for light day to day fixes.

Purchased as a gift for my bose

I purchased it for my Bose. I feel this could be a good gift. He is not a handy guy. But I think he could use it easily to hit some nails. However, he doesn't seem to be happy when receive it.

One hammer fits all size

Perfect size and style for a mechanic's go-bag toolbox, where weight is critical and tools need to do multiple jobs. The head is a little longer than a standard ball peen, so it can reach around some obstructions. The 10 oz weight is a good compromise. The only thing I didn't like was the epoxy mounted handle. I've never had one hold up. It seems fine now, but once the epoxy breaks I will be putting a steel wedge in it.

great for adjusting wooden body hand plane irons

this little hammer has a nice wide face with flat sides, but is not very heavy. I use it for adjusting the iron on a couple of wood body hand planes (a small Japanese kanna and a larger Chinese style smoother). The square profile makes it easy to get clean taps on the wedge. Seems well made with clean casting / machining. Great value, great control for light duty use. This is not a sledge hammer.
