Excellent boot but...

You're going to need to swap out the insoles with some Dr. Scholls or a similar product. Once you do, you'll have a really comfortable, virtually bombproof work boot! The pair I received are well made and look like they're going to hold up for awhile. I use them to work in a kitchen (unlike another reviewer, I've had no issues with traction- they are oil and slip resistant with great treads) and to ride my motorcycle. Without the gel inserts to replace the paper thin soles that come in the boot, my feet (heels and arch) would ache and my toes would hurt from walking on the rigid sole of the boot. After replacing them, I even wear these boots for normal daily errands. Note that, like Caterpillar, these boots run a .5 to 1 size large. I wear a 12 in sneakers, have a size 11.5 foot, and the 11s fit me just right. In short, these boots are inexpensive, seem sturdy, look great, and (most importantly) should do a decent job protecting your feet if something goes wrong.

Awesome work boots

These are the only work boots my boyfriend will use! Steel toe, heavy, and very comfortable (once you break them in). The last pair lasted close to two years!

Nice after "break in"

Bought these to replace my battered, worn out motorcycle boots. Took a few days to break in, during which time they pinched a bit in the toe box area. I often wear thick wool socks when riding in the winter, so that contributed to the tightness a bit but I think it also helped break them in quicker. Super comfortable to wear all day now and, while not as protective as dedicated moto boots, they are very sturdy!

I loved my first pair.

I loved my first pair so much that I ordered a second pair a week later. The second pair was much different so I applied for a replacement, which was also much different. So you can get lucky with a great pair or get stuck with a boots that are less than thrilling. If you get a good pair its 5 star all day. I gave it 4 due to inconsistency.

Really Good Boots, Really Cheap Laces...

When I initially got these boots I thought they looked good, but didn't expect they would hold up as work boots. I'm happy to say I was wrong! I'm an electrician and I work on some pretty rugged job sites, and when my regular work boots suddenly blew out I wore these Wolverines. I've been wearing them for months now and they hardly show any signs of wear! The only drawback that I've seen is the laces. They broke after a few months, so be prepared to replace them because the boots will last MUCH longer than the laces.
