it bends and creases upon any pressure, and is not at all wheat I expected. It is semi opaque and very thin.

Just what I was looking for at a great price

This tool is very flexible as in bendy. It is perfect for painting next to or behind something like carpet. If you are looking for something rigid or stiff, this is not it. It works great!

Shield carpet from paint

I have used these for years. They are very thin and can easily get between carpet and trim. This allows you to pull the carpet away from the trim and paint. The curved surface pulls away from the wall farther than a flat blade does. You can then usually slide the tool along the edge to paint the next section. If you cannot slide the tool, you will have to remove it and wipe it off. Note that you will go through a lot of paper towels wiping paint off of the tool. Be careful, since the blade is thin, and you can cut your finger if you do not use caution. In a lot of cases, the tool is thin enough to fit between 1/4 round molding and hard flooring too for painting in these circumstances. I would not recommend this tool to shield a wall while painting molding since it is very flexible. Study your job to pick the right tool for your project.

Don't buy

This is very very flimsy. Don't waste your money I'm sorry I wasted mine.

Disappointed

Perhaps I didn’t read the description closely enough but I did not realize this was going to be a metal piece with a very sharp corners. If you aren’t careful you could really cut yourself with this I thought it was going to be a study plastic. Will probably be covering the corners with duct tape to double the sharpness of the corner so I don’t cut or poke my self. I almost threw it out so we’ll see how long I keep it. It was only a couple of bucks so there’s no reason to return something like that but I won’t be ordering it again
