Could be better. Kind of a pot metal versus solid steel.
Wish this had rollers on top and bottom and sides. I think I have the ProWinch 4500S for synthetic rope. If you pull to tight this pot metal just snaps. Have lost two of them doing this.

Poorly made product
Nothing bad about the seller. But the product itself is very poorly made I have easily damaged cracked and completely broken two of them. With just normal winching myself out of the dirt. If the current one breaks I will look elsewhere for a solid billeted aluminum one. This product is cast and very thin.

Buyer beware
Very disappointed in this WARN product. I actually had to use my winch for the first time this month. The winch rope cut almost right through this fairlead. It is not a solid piece of aluminum like some of the others. This is hollow, like a "C" channel. Definitely not worth the $100+ I paid for it. I feel like I was taken advantage of because I wanted the matching "warn" fairlead to my winch(the "W" sticker fell off after the first run). Now in "Warn's" defence, it does say right on it to use the warn rope. I used the "Extreme Max 5600 rope "The Devils Hair". One can assume using the warn rope would may have made a difference, but even when my winch snugged up with the rubber bumber, it created a slight bend to the fairlead before even using it. I can honestly say, I expected more from a warn product. Solid 6061 Aluminum would be better.
