My best purchase of the year
I waited a long time to replace my Vitamix container because I realized after I had thrown the other one away that all I had to do was replace the blade and was mad at myself. Then I saw the stainless one on a commercial and jumped on here to get one but the price was out of my range at the time. Glad I kept checking and it went on sale! I saved $40 bucks and it is the best $160 I've spent this year. It would have been less expensive to buy a whole Ninja system from Costco but do I really need another appliance in my house? NO.

Well made quality item, the bad reviews are competitors
I read tons of reviews before I purchased this expensive item! The bad reviews made this quality product like a piece of junk. I told myself there were 100 times more good reviews at least and purchased! Once I received I realized that the bad reviews were either jealous competition or truly a fluke. The unit I received does not have sharp edging except for the blade of course! The handle does have a slight space but it’s a nominal issue at best and can be fixed with clear silicon. The numbers coming off happens so slow that I doubt will harm me in any way , the air and water around us is more harmful than this, in my opinion these people are over exaggerating the threat here. The plastic top is very well made and works very well. Some people made this product sound like a junk heap. It’s very far from that! I do agree on one thing, the tamper that they include is a real cheaply made very light plastic and the company should be totally embarrassed by including such a bad tamper if you could call it that. Happy blending!

Superb blender...Go get it!!!!
I am beyond satisfied with this beauty. Does a great job blending smoothly and it came with a toggle tool as well. I guess Vitamix fixed some issue with the engraving on blade and now the new design is flawless! overall this jar is simply superb and probably going to last for a very long time without having to worry about discoloration especially with the plastic ones since I make a lot of citrus based juices which may leave stain if it were to be plastic.. It even pulverizes the skin of lemon so smoothly. With the sturdy and solid stainless steel material I can now blend my juices, hot chutneys and smoothies. It is excellent especially for hot soups and chutneys. Go for it!!!

Handles hot and cold
It works well in a variety of situations and temperature. Way more durable than the NSF plastic one destroyed by dishwasher temperature or hot soups.

Vacuum
Life changing, honestly. Easy to create a vacuum seal(Google it), no dioxins from the plastic(Google it), easy to clean, has self detect, incredibly durable, slightly quieter, for cold or hot, perfect for potentially staining foods, slightly more narrow base which is better for nut butters, herbs, etc. I do wish there was a 64oz version but I am just so grateful they brought this back. Will be purchasing a second one. Might seem expensive but it is definitely worth.

It’s a beast
It’s a beast. Great for small batch soups and smoothies. I also use it for any blends containing curry, which otherwise would stain the normal Tritan container.

Good size and sturdy.
Attractive and durable. The smaller size is better for me that the larger plastic one that came with my blender because I keep the blender on my countertop for accessibility and this shorter container fits underneath the cabinets.

Very Nice Stainless Steel Blender jar
I was initially sent a blender jar that appeared to have been a returned item and the seller was quick to correct this and now have a new blender jar. Very nice blender jar from Vitamix - The jar is nicely weighted and feels nice to hold and is certainly strong and sturdy - very happy that I purchased the Stainless Steel Blender jar. - - Yes, it is a bit pricey but can honestly say that its also well worth it and will likely last a lifetime.

I have long been concerned about plastic touching my organic ingredients. This solves the problem.
Great replacement, strong, not easily broken, also its not too heavy, cleans up easily in hot water. The only drawback is you cant see the blending going on inside the goblet. A glass one would be better but that would be very heavy probably so this is a good compromise.

not perfect but pretty good
CON It is a lot more noisy than the plastic version. It makes my Vitamix shake more and sometime make the unit move around more than with the plastic one. As it is not transparent you see by the top only, so, if you are petite, you'll need a step to see inside as the Vitamix is pretty high. It is actually a bit taller than the plastic container of the same size. So I found harder to guess the texture and harder to use. If you do soup, the outside is really hot, so, you have to be careful not to burn yourself. The mesure line inside it are useless. The lid tend not to close properly so you have to be careful with that not to blend the plastic plunger. The plunger is really thin. As the idea was not to have plastic, it is kind of missing the point here. PRO I am not at my third plastic pitcher as the two first one broke. This one won't break. It is easier to wash, dishwasher safe and the fat does not stick to the surface if you wash it quickly by hand. The metal does not mark (unlike my stainless steel fridge) I always felt a bit meeeh to do soup in a transparent one. I know that in theory it should not be a problem, but it felt wrong. I feel confident with this one. It looks nice

Wonderful and safe jug to use, works with uk pro 300
Wonderful jug and happy to be away from the plastic jug especially for hot blends. Despite the listing saying it doesnt work with international model i have ordered it to the uk and it works perfectly with my uk pro 300, i personally belive its just the international ascent series these jugs dont work with.

This thing is a beast
As I had mentioned, this blender is a beast. It’s so powerful I almost took it out to my shop and used it for a wood chipper. All kidding aside. Most impressive machine I’ve ever had. And that it’s stainless steel to.
