The first stopper that's ever worked for me

I wasn't expecting much with this product. I figured it would be like all of the other bottle stopper in my cabinet. I was wrong. I think the reason this works is because it's only for sparking wines that come in a standard 750ml champagne bottle. Last night, I opened a bottle of cheap bubbly and poured a glass. I didn't get back to it until a couple of hours later. It was completely flat (unlike a good champagne). I had used the stopper on the bottle. When I opened it today, I released the lever (that fits perfectly over the bottle's second lip) and it popped - very much like when first opening. I was seriously surprised. So this should as well or better on real champagne. Cheers! :)

Works! Fantastic Stopper actually does its job!

I have been searching for this stopper for 30 years!! I had almost given up trying to find a stopper that contains the contents and preserves freshness after opening. This stopper does the job. Open the Champagne enjoy ! Half bottle left? Put this fine stopper in the neck and close it. When you are ready for more Champagne carefully open the stopper. You will be pleased!

Would have been 5 stars but for the price

heavy duty stopper that works

I have been using this stopper for about 6 months. It works very well and fits every bottle I have tried so far. Tight seal ensures your wine keeps its fizz for several days!

Works well and is attractive

Love the way it looks. Keeps a half bottle of champagne bubbly for 3-4 days. Haven’t tried it for longer than that.

The best? Good and bad

I bought TWO: One is fine and in regular use. The other failed first time - it flew off the bottle on reopening, hit a wall and the SS top came off!! I was planning to return it - I didn't want a refund, rather a replacement, but that seemed not an option - but such a bother I took it to a special centre and the top plate was laser re-affixed at a personal cost of AUD$60.00! Quality control: disappointing and a warning to other buyers.

No leaks

Works really well, no leaks when bottle is on its side, which is lucky as the stopper is quite tall meaning i cant store the bottle with stopper standing up in my fridge.
