Fun but not for beginners
I bought more than 10 of these Exit games and played with different people. This Labyrinth was fun, but it was not at beginner's level. The order of the hints was alphabetical. However, it took extra time to find the clues from instructions and packaging boxes. The difficulty level will be better set to 2 - 3 stars.

These Exit games addictive!
I haven't played this one yet, but this brand is amazing. Fun for all ages (as long as they're open-minded or a little smart). Great game night addition. Can be played solo, but better as a team!

just so so
First of all, this is a one time use product. Once you play this game, it is not possible to play it again. We all thought that the solutions for each task is not straightforward and somewhat embarrassing. Without seeing clue cards, I do not think it can be done within 90 minutes.

At Home Fun
These games really are an escape room in a box! They are really addicting to play, it is just a bummer that it is a one time use game and that other people cannot reuse the box. Overall super worth if you are looking for a 1-4 people game to play at home.

We enjoyed it "for the most part", but it left a bad taste in our mouths
My wife and I played The Cursed Labyrinth last night for our date night. We were having fun and enjoying ourselves, as we usually do with EXIT games, until we got to one particular riddle, and then we were just plain infuriated after reading the Solution Card. My wife almost quit playing after that. In spite of what the box says, this is *NOT* a novice-level game. Beginners, you have been warned! The only reason (that I can think of) why this game is rated Level-2 difficulty and not Level-3 is because the riddles are linear, i.e. you get all the clues for one riddle, solve it, then receive all the clues for the next riddle, solve it, etc. You are not allowed to turn to the next page in the book until explicitly told to do so during the course of the game. In the higher-difficulty games, on the other hand, you accumulate "pieces" of several riddles concurrently and have to determine when you have everything you need to solve one. The entire game book is at your disposal from the start. If it weren't for the linearity, however, I don't see how The Cursed Labyrinth could be considered anything less than Level-3. That's in my opinion, of course. [For the record, my wife and I have played every EXIT game except The Catacombs of Horror, or any of the new ones with jigsaw puzzles.] ***** POSSIBLE Spoiler Alert ***** People who aren't familiar with EXIT game mechanics should probably skip this section. Experienced vets may continue unscathed. One of the comments I made in my review of The Cemetery of the Knight was that it went overboard with riddles involving "packaging material" (game box, rule book, advertising copy, etc). So, too, is the case with The Cursed Labyrinth. To me--and again, this is solely my opinion--that practice detracts from the game (the "immersion" factor), and the designers seem to be using it as a crutch lately, as if they're running out of ideas for regular riddles and clues. The "infuriating" riddle I mentioned earlier is one of these types of riddles; and man, you wanna talk about obscure?! ************************************** Okay, so the game is more difficult than it should be for a Level-2 game, and one of the riddles was infuriating, but was it _all_ bad? Certainly not. There were two riddles I can remember off the top of my head that I thought were neat, one of which is the one my wife and I voted as "the coolest riddle was" on our certificate; and recall that I said earlier that my wife and I were enjoying ourselves until we hit that one riddle. So yes, there are enjoyable elements to The Cursed Labyrinth. I liked the overall theme in The Cursed Labyrinth--trapped in a maze with gargoyles and other mythic creatures--and I liked the story line to some degree, but in the end the game was disappointing. It's not the worst EXIT game out there (that would be The Stormy Flight), but it's on par with The Cemetery of the Knight and Theft on the Mississippi.

Great series, but "The Cursed Labyrinth" is not the best
In general, my family has loved the "exit: the game" escape rooms! However, this particular title was not the best. For at least half the puzzles, we found that we had pretty much solved the clues, but we still didn't get the right answer. We kept having to go back to the hints to find out things like, that squiggle you found was supposed to look like an 8, not a 3. As for the series in general, most of the games have been great! The level 2 games are much easier, about appropriate for my 9yo with help. (Maybe start with The Enchanted Forest or The Sunken Treasure.) My 11 and 13yo prefer the level 3 games. (Try The Forgotten Island.) We will definitely get more, but "The Cursed Labyrinth" was pretty frustrating.

Would not recommend
This was probably the worst one I’ve played so far. It seemed really cool but some of these solutions to the riddles were kind of weird or ridiculous. The clues were of no help. It started out really fun but it got extremely frustrating very quickly. I would suggest some of the other games but not this one

Another great game
We love these games and have played the whole series. This one was a bit easy compared to some others but did not disappoint and made for a nice family game night.

More difficult than expected!
I've played most of the level 2's and didn't have any problems however i had to use the solution card TWICE during this game. (Spoilers below). The puzzle where you had to line up the box and find the number on the side was ridiculous. Took us three hours to complete. The rest of the level 2's have been incredibly enjoyable however this one was just frustrating to the point that it was more irritating than fun.

Really difficult, not enioyable
We've done escape rooms and a similar game from another brand, so I bought this for my 11 year old daughter's birthday thinking it would be a fun family evening. It was stressful! No way is it a level 2 game, had to look at the clues for nearly every single challenge and for many we ended up looking at the solution card, we had been on the right track but just couldn't read the numbers. It's put me off buying more from this brand although others have said this is not typical of the brand.

Do not play labyrinth - level rating deceiving
Unfortunately considering the labyrinth is meant to be an easily family friendly game, it’s absolutely awful. We tried the sunken treasure one to begin with (of the same level) and wasn’t too bad. We thought we’d give it another go. This one is at times impossible to solve without the solution cards. In addition the numbers are not easy to spot or are warped on the pages or other materials. They are not at all obvious, even when you are on the right track. Most of the time we did what we needed to do and couldn’t see the numbers. So we often had to look at the solution card even though we had done all the leg work. Frankly a family with younger children would struggle with this. It’s like half way through they try to trick you and deliberately make it too difficult to come to the solution. We are a huge fan of escape rooms and always manage to do the real thing. This game I high recommend you don’t buy it. We have decided to give the game one last try, otherwise we will not be buying any more.
