Great product. Don't buy a 10 pack from Amazon warehouse. It always comes as one disc not 10
These are great discs of 500s before. However, Amazon warehouse listed 10 for 46 bucks. Totally not true. It was one in the package. This has happened to me actually about three times from Amazon warehouse and lm such a sucker. I keep thinking I'll finally get 10 someday and ordering again

Did not meet expectations for durability
A zirconia flap disk is a wonderful thing! I don’t know how previous generations of metal workers did without them. I was edge blending & finishing several fixtures I had built using SAIT 71215 Encore flap disks. I used up 3 of these disk in less than half a day. This forced me to reinstall a used up, month old $5.00 Norton 20X flap disk from Home Depot. Although the Norton 20X was worn down to the backing material on the outer circumference, and than some, it made it through the rest of the day. The SAIT disk cut as expected, they just didn’t last. It seemed to me that as they wore, the “grit”, would become unbonded from the cloth backing. With the Norton flap disk, the “grit” and cloth wore evenly right down to the backing plate. For background, I was using the SAIT 36 grit flap wheels for the second stage of a 4 stage blending process on ¼ and 3/8” mild steel.

Initial bite fades quickly but they remain functional.
Well built and work well. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars would be the longevity, I wish they lasted a bit longer. I haven't done any side-by-side comparisons, but they seem to wear a touch sooner than I'd expect. They do stay together very well, which lets you keep using them long after they lose the initial aggressiveness. Some other kinds I've used disintegrate as soon as the majority of the grit is gone.

Nice Product.....
I've used these disc's in my line of work (Pipefitter/Welder), for several years. I got these for use at home with some of my metal projects I do from time to time. They are great for polishing as well as removing any non-wanted metal and weld splatter from metal surfaces. They are pretty durable if not abused beyond normal use. Kinda wished they were a little cheaper, but you do get what you pay for. I'd still recommend these for anyone working with metal projects although they can be used for other things. Just use your own imagination.

They don't last long
These abrasive discs disintegrated under normal to light use; after only a few minutes of use grinding fiberglass the disc had lost about 25% of its radius.

Sait products are superior to any I have tried
Sait products are superior to any I have tried. The discs last far longer and clean out as you use them. Thanks for the great product at a great value.

Flap disc
Wears nice, pretty long life. A lot more forgiving than a grinding disc. I would buy this brand again, it's a good price

40 griit flap disk
The Sait 40 grit flap disk performs as expected, outlasts competitors wheels at least two to one. Definitely a good buy.
