Not as thick as I thought it would be, looks kind of cheap too.

I wasn't as pleased with this as I thought I'd be but glad it's not for an outside rug. Using it on a screened porch. It's rather thin.

Perfect for either indoor or outdoor use.

Great indoor/outdoor rug with just the right amount of anti-skid, we are using this at the top of our stairs into the kitchen on hardwood where the dogs tend to slip and slide running up (or down) at marathon speeds. This rug, a perfect size, has eliminated the pups from going into the full out Bambi-on-ice splits they had been known to do when coming in from the great outdoors. The colors are beautifully vibrant, there was no strange off-gassing from the rubber backing, and the rug was shipped flat to avoid any oddball creasing that needed flattening. Being early (five or six weeks), we have not yet had to wash the rug, but we have taken a stiff brush to it to get dried mud off of it from muddy paws from time to time, which works well and with no harm to the low, low nap. Now that the holidays are over, we will be looking for a newer more everyday style to replace this one along with a second or third for in front of two other doors.

After Christmas, I bought a competitor's mat "holder" that I will use for this next year. (It doesn't stay in place.) Otherwise, very pretty rug. Prompt delivery.
