not slippery after washing

Best sheets I've ever had. But also most expensive. I think it's worth the price. Arrives shiny and slippery like satin but after washing I don't slide off of bed!

Best feather bed I've owned

I had actually ordered a different feather topper, which I finally cancelled after more than one shipping delay. I settled on this one as a second choice and I'm really happy with it. I've had it for over a month and unlike others I've had in the past, this one is really comfortable and so far I've not seen or felt any feather shafts. The cover seems very durable and designed to last. I love how it just sort of pillows you and encloses you in an embrace. I love my new feather bed.

Best way to upgrade an existing mattress.

My mattress just wasn't cutting it anymore and I couldn't afford a nicer new one. Since firm doesn't work for me, I thought a feather bed might do the trick. It does. I swear I look forward to crawling in every night. I do recommend buying a protector for it.

Do not believe them about their cover weave being able to stop the feathers.

The feather bed could be rated higher if the manufacture was truthful. Their fabric weave does not prevent, it might slow down, but it fails to prevent feather from sticking anyone who lays on the bed. It is these feather sticks which causes the person attempting to sleep, to not sleep ... sleepless nights from being stuck by sharp feather quills. This is their BLATANT LIE! HYPERCLEAN RESILIA FEATHERS with 230 thread count, 100% cotton Barrier Weave fabric to ensure against the feathers leaking out. To help prevent feather sticks ... I purchased a full/queen size wool, tightly woven blanket on top of the feather bed. So far so good, but I have to pick the feather out of the wool weekly when changing bedding. Not as described

Definitely pay attention to other people's bad reviews like I should have. Product is nowhere near as fluffy as described. I could see a few people got lucky and got really fluffy ones. Decided to order anyway. Was slightly disappointed as mine was rather flat not too bad though. I've had mine since 20/20 and unfortunately now quite a few of the feathers are coming through and/or it has lost a good bit of its feathers. It said that no feathers would leak out so that is obviously false. Also to note multiple people in the reviews said that the feathers leak to the sides over time and I have experienced this as well. I have to shake and fluff this like crazy just to try and get it puffed up the middle again. After 2 years now though almost all of the feathers have been pushed to the sides and is no longer fluffy in the middle. Because of the stitches it is impossible to get the feathers to move back to the middle no matter how much fluffing or tossing you do. This is resulted in me having my back pain come back. So lessoned learned. 1, give greater wait to the bad reviews for Amazon products. 2, do yourself a favor don't buy it if it has this many bad reviews with photos to prove it. ???? This product is DEFINITELY NOT worth the price.

Fluffy but……

The feathers move and bunch up at the bottom leaving the middle very flat. I bought this knowing that I’d have to refluff it every so often but I can never seem to make it evenly fluffed all the way through top to bottom. It’s pretty frustrating. We bought this to put on top of our memory foam topper and it helps a bit but i wouldn’t consider it sleeping on a cloud or the worlds best sleep. Definitely more comfy after a fresh “re-fluff” but doesn’t last long. We’ve had some feathers escape here and there but that can happen with this type of topper which I already knew upon buying. Not super impressed overall but I like it enough to continue using.

It's a good topper.

This one is tough to review because it doesn’t stand alone. Bang for buck is a great topper. It’s soft, and it is actual feathers; I feel you’ll have a hard time finding these features for a better price. It comes packed pretty flat, so you really need to fluff it up to get it to expand out anywhere near 5-inches. Other reviewers have stated the feathers poke through, they do. It’s not as bad as some have said, but it happens. I use it with a deep pocket mattress cover over the pad. I don’t notice it unless I pull off the sheet and cover and am physically touching the topper itself. Which I don’t want to be doing for obvious sanitary reasons, but you can feel the quill and vane of the feather if you are in direct contact. Full disclosure I have this on a med-firm Serta Sheep Retreat, and it is hard. If your mattress is too hard, this will not fix that. And I want to mention that because I feel it makes it hard for me to be completely objective.

not soft enough

I got this to replace a memory foam topper that was torn. I like memory foam a lot for how it supports my spine and neck when I sleep as I have injuries to both. My kids always end up tearing foam though so I decided to try something different and got a feather bed. I love how this looks. My husband likes it much more than foam as it is more supportive and he doesn't sink in so much. I just wish it was softer. I may try one that is this type but with shredded memory foam. I really want this one to work for me though. I want this one to be the one and have it be my 5 star topper like it is for others so I may try it a bit longer. I am very sore with it though. I think most people don't have the sorts of injuries I have and will probably do well with this and like it a lot.

The product which I have received does not have a tag of Pacific coast company. So it is difficult to believe that I whether I have received genuine product or not.

Very comfortable

This a very nice extra for my bed. It is so comfy and adds extra warmth in the winter. Would buy this product again.

Good deal, needs fluffing a few times a week

This is a very nice feather bed topper. It does need to be fluffed at least once a week. It will need to be rotated as well to avoid flat spots. One reviewer commented that these are the toppers used at Hilton hotels. I am not sure if it is true but I do not find this product to be of hotel quality. I understand hotel maids fluff the bed every day but I can't see this product lasting more than two years with out significant flattening. It is good quality but not great.
