Works as intended

I bought this basically to boil water and replace my old non stick one. It’s not super thick steel so it’s decently light weight. It had already gotten the spots though from salt in the bottom.

perfect for the colander-conscious

It's fair to say that our sink is never completely empty from dishes, which makes draining pasta into a colander not exactly sanitary. This pot helps a LOT! There are 2 sets of holes - one finer than the other - and that helps really well for varying pasta sizes. Our only complaint is that one of the handles starts to loosen. It is easily fixed with a screw driver, but it has become a repeated problem. It is still a great pot, though!

Good, sturdy pot

The handles are what made me buy this pot…it replaced a pot that had handles that were held on by only one screw and had gotten dangerously loose (despite being tightened frequently). But the size of this pot is very handy, it’s perfect for boiling noodles or making soup. It’s sturdy and washes well. It’s a good pot.

It's ok

It's fine, I bought this to replace another tefal soup pot that my in-laws ruined. This one has zero non-stick coating which means I have to watch it more closely. The locking handles and built in pasta strainer are quite convenient. I wash it in the dishwasher with no problems.

Even heating

This is a well made stainless sreel 5 qt pot with lid. It is even heating of stews, chili, soups, etc. I use it every day and am pleased with my purchase. As always Amazon's prime shipping can't be beat.

Nice but……

It’s easy to clean! Very nice size. The lock feature is great but it gets SO HOT that you cannot grab them with bare hands. So unfortunately I will give a 3 stars
