BUY THE SHOE!

First of all, as a first time mom shoe shopping gave me anxiety. This brand is great for new walkers and runners. At 16 months, my son still needs support. This shoe is durable. At his age, I buy 1-2 quality shoes that will go with everything. He even prefers this style to the other stride rite pair that he owns. He wears a size 4, but this is a 4.5. His foot is secure and not slipping out. So the shoe will last a bit longer. It’s holding up well. Perfect purchase if you have more kids and will use hand me downs or you want to gift to someone else. I buy stride rite on sale but it is worth full price if you need it. Easy on, easy off. No heel blisters like other shoes.

Too tight

They say they are for wide feet but my sons foot barley fits in them they are tight on him and hard to get his foot in them

Consider sizing up, but great sneaker!

We upgraded (or thought we did) from Oshkosh (pink) size 5s when my little gal's foot started being tight in her older shoes. I thought sizing up from 5 to 6T would be enough, but as you can see by the pictures, the size 6T Stride Rite is almost identical in size. For what it's worth, the quality is great! The gray color is very functional. We took out the wide foot liner to give our girl more time in the shoes, but she's already (a mere few weeks later) starting to seem tight in the new shoes. Had I known about the size difference, I might have sized up. If you're thinking about it, I recommend sizing up and then if too big, get a smaller size, too. The quality and flexible soul for my 18 month old is totally worth the price tag.

Sturdy shoe

This is the only brand I buy for my toddler. Sturdy and reasonably fashionable. The only thing I don’t like about these is that the straps are fixed and can’t be adjusted

Perfect fit, sturdy shoe

I struggle with spending a lot of money on shoes for a toddler, considering they will be outgrown in a few months. I bit the bullet and ordered these, and I might now be a convert! My son has a leg issue and I wanted to be sure I was getting him a quality shoe with good support. I ordered a size 6 toddler and it fits perfectly with a little wiggle room, which is what I wanted. I love that the tongue practically comes entirely out of the shoe, making putting them on a breeze.
