Great vac

I bought this to clean out my house hawks cage and it really does a good job. The birds don't care for it but they get over it....lol Great suction and easy to roll around. I'm sure it'd suck up a parakeet or two if I wasn't careful... I love all the attachments too and will make good use of them.

It handled a tough task

I've been having issues with my 1000 gallon septic tank not draining and didn't want to spend $500+ again to have it sucked out so I bought this to do it myself. Time consuming doing it 10 gallons at a time but this vac never quit and I used it for about 8 hours straight that day.

The good news is that this vacuum really sucks

I feel fortunate that I have not experienced what others here have reported. It is perhaps the most powerful vacuum I have had and there have been many as I serviced vacuums as a job many many years ago. The one gripe I had but cannot knock a full star off for is the lack of a swivel on the handle end of the hose. The swivel on the canister end is pretty nigh useless. It works but not like one could wish for. I'll putz around with it some to see if I can modify it. So for that my rating currently sits at roughly, about, or approximately 4.83177. I have not had it for very long so longevity is yet to be evaluated. It is admittedly a lot of plastic but thus far all intact. I was disappointed that my Shop-Vac expired after only a few years of modest use. Shop-Vacs were synonymous with any vacuum relegated to "shop use" and to not be able find a replacement motor for it for less than what I had paid for the entire unit added to the dismay. So if Stanley could fix the hose issue for future consumers of this product and that it continues to suck as well as it does into the foreseeable future I could bump my numerical rating to a 5 down the road.

Attachments are toy like

The vac itself if okay. I bought it to clean my garage floor of dog hair after grooming my dogs. The cord and hose together aren't long enough to reach from my plug at one end of the garage to the other end. What's with putting such a short cord on this vac? There are toy like attachments. The only floor attachment is a squeegee made for cleaning up wet floors. You can take out the rubber squeegee blade but the attachment is too small to use on a floor. Good luck trying to find a larger floor attachment that fits the small suction hose that come with this vac. All the attachments are made from cheap flimsy plastic. I don't recommend this product but what are you going to do? Just about everything you buy these days is pure junk.

Vac works just as described - I’m overall pleased with this purchase.

Everything works or is exactly as mentioned in the advertisements but, unfortunately very little liquid is taken up in the ‘wet vac’ cycle before full and must be emptied. Overall I’m pleased with this product - great suction! Jim

Better than most others I've tried

Very good value for the cost of other comparable brands. Versatile attachments for most vacuum work and most importantly has enough power to really get the job done. Highly recommend this one!

STANLEY IS the BEST

I joke that I now have a Stanley as my daughter has a new dog named Stanley. I bought it for my husband but I seem to be the only one that uses is. It works perfect on my shag area rugs as well as all other surfaces. It works great in the basement and love how all the attachments are part of the entire system.
