Great Sport Dog collar replacement

Bought as a replacement for our Sport Dog train and contain electric fence. Fit perfect with adaptor. Color is vivid and easy to see

Works great for petsafe fence collar

This collar works great with petsafe in-ground fence collars. My dogs don’t do well with the cloth collars the petsafe comes with, so I ordered this because there are adjustment holes all the way around it. The pins lined right up with the holes so you could place the block anywhere on it and just cut off or strap up the excess collar length. Since the pins lined up with the holes, all I had to do was unscrew it from the original cloth one and transfer it to this one and screw the pins in. Boom done! Super easy. GREAT FOR PETSAFE INGROUND BLOCKS

Very high quality collar

Very well made collar, should last a long time. It's probably the most durable you can buy. I like that they use 4 rivets (almost all others only have 2 or 3 which doesn't seem very long-lasting). I love the buckle - much sturdier than others and the roller makes it easier to take on and off. The band is strong and feels like it will last. It is waterproof. I love the bright color of the orange. I do wish that they sold this exact one with a reflective band - I really want my dogs to be visible and safe at all times, even in the dark at night, and it's important to me that they have a reflective band. After trying both, I think I like the shiny more polished finish on waterproof collars - seems like it will last longer and stay cleaner. This one has a soft matte finish on the band - maybe that could be more comfortable on the dogs neck, not sure yet.

Latest version missing some desired features

As mentioned in another review, your collar may arrive without a D-Ring. You also may not get the 2-year warranty you're expecting. We've used the SportDog systems with our dogs for a large protected area and been quite happy with the products. I just ordered 2 of these replacement collar straps, 1 red and 1 yellow. The yellow one arrived as expected, with the buckle, D-ring, and strap retainer ring. No issues there. The red one, sent separately, includes the buckle and strap retainer ring, but no D-ring. As a comment on the other review mentioned, you would not want to attach a leash to these collars because of the prongs on the electronic receiver. Makes sense. What didn't make sense is that the red one (presumably newer, without the D-ring) also has a more "rubbery" feel, and may actually pull on the dog's fur more. Biggest concern is that I noticed the newer red one has a 1-year warranty, while the older yellow one has a 2-year warranty. Your mileage may vary.

Good width not best loop for leash work.

I had the collar on for 2 days and hooked my dog on to his leash and he pulled really good and the hook broke.

Durable and Fits my Aetertek unit (tightly)

I use this with an Aetertek 219s unit to control my dog's unruly barking when my dogs are left outside. I needed this since my older American Bulldog puppy chewed through my older American Bulldog's (the one we have a barking problem with) collar. I couldn't find a replacement Aetertek collar only without the receiver unit, so I went this route. It was a little wider than the OE collar so it is took a little persuasion to feed it through the loops of the receiver unit, but it still works. It is way more durable the nonwoven plastic collars that came with my system and would recommend this for any Aetertek 219S user who need a replacement collar only. Disclaimer: I would like to disclose the fact that the OE Aetertek collars have a mesh copper sleeve in the middle that are connected to the steel eyelets to presumably increases the range of the sending unit to the receiving unit. I have not noticed any degradation in range since using the SportDOG collar, but I don't use my units at great distances either.
