Great Work Shorts

Better than Carhartt at a much better price. I'm a big fan of Smith Workwear. Quality clothing at a reasonable cost.

Mostly what I wanted, but the pockets are a pain.

Seems they a) used poor velcro on the side pockets, b) maybe made the flaps a bit too short on them. When you place anything in the pockets, like my cell phone, which is what I use the pocket for, the flap won't quite close fully over the place the velcro is, and the velcro itself doesn't grip right. I have had my phone fall out of the pocket more than a few times as a result, which never happened with the cargo pants made by the company I normally buy from - but which where, due to Covid, unavailable. Don't think I will be buying these again, unless I have no other choice. On the other hand - they don't suck as bad as all those ones out there with "side/phone" pockets with "no" velcro enclosure at all, which neither fit a modern, large size, phone, nor actually even pretend to try to keep one from falling out with some sort of flap/enclosure, and thus 100% guarantee it will fall out at some point. Your shorts... are more a case of, "There is a 30% chance you will lose your phone if you sit, crouch, etc. wrong. Which is.... better? But, still unacceptable.

Love the product but received (and exchanges) a slightly defective pair

I love the product. The only reason I did not give it a five is that the picket on one of the two pairs I ordered was stitched so as to partially close the pocket. It was really easy to exchange the flawed pair for a good pair but...

nice shorts-- BUT

Really nice material and seem to be made right-- BIG PROBLEM THOUGH- I ordered size 40, opened and went to try on-- not a chance . The sticker tape said size 40, but the print on inside of pocket said 36.Even that I believe is wrong!!

Good value

Worn a few times and have no issues. They are a bit snug but I feel that's more on me than sizing issues. The material I wish was heavier but these aren't thin, I just prefer heavier fabric since Im hard on clothes. Only negative is the back pockets are velcro vs a button or open and snags on my shirt since my wallet is a check style and prevents the flap from securing. Overall these are pretty good for the money

Well made, quality shorts for everyday.

The quality of these really surprised me as I was not familiar with Smith's. They are much heavier material and better made than the "name" brand shorts that I have been wearing for several years. They look great and fit perfectly based on my actual size when ordered.

The button came off

Fit is good. Material is thick and appears durable, however, the button came off the first time I wore them.

Great Buy

They are perfect, right size and right length. I have washed them at least a dozen times so far and they have kept their color so far. Gotta get some more..
