Great Pan- but the Ad Lies about Size

Attention Amazon: this is a misleading ad, saying it is 7.5". Obviously a consumer would believe that to be the usable space in the cooking area, correct? No. The usable space is 5". Which I would have realized, had I not just clicked to buy, instead of reading reviews! I have other Blue Diamond pans, and like them, so I just bought this without thinking. Now I'm kind of put out. So I lopped a star off an otherwise stellar little pan. In all other ways, this performs well. Cooks evenly, cleans easily, and stores (well, obviously) easily. Buy it if you want a Very Wee Pan for one lil' egg or a lil' batch of sauteed onions...

So tiny!

This pan is so cute! It's literally enough to hold one egg but it is as advertised so I can't complain. Nice pan in a very, very miniature version.

Love this little skillet

Love this little skillet. It's the perfect size for cooking an egg (or two) for a sandwich or breakfast. Also great for scrambling 1-2 eggs. Only a tiny dab of butter or olive oil is needed - but I have forgotten to add any and it still works great. It cleans up so easily. Very happy with my purchase and plan to buy a larger size .

My favorite pan

I use this almost every day for a single egg to make an egg english muffin sandwich. It is incredibly easy to clean and hangs on a little nail next to my stove. My dd has started using it almost as often. I like the texture of eggs cooked this way so much better than the ones the rest of my family makes in the microwave and the size of the egg is perfect for bread (a little big for english muffins, but I am definitely not complaining). I LOVE this little pan.

Looks good so far!

This pan seems to have a very nice non-stick finish. I've only used it a few times, but it works well. Time will tell. If I get a year or two of use from it, I'll be happy. The price was reasonable.

Blue diamond is the best!

Perfect size for making an egg for a sandwich. Perfect for sauteing a few veggies for a sandwich. It is just such a utility type pan! And so easy to clean up!

Does not work with induction stoves

This was the perfect size and I really wanted it to work with my induction stove. But no luck. I’m sure it’s fine for gas or regular electric.

Fantastic...as advertised.

It is a pleasure to use and works as advertised. Nothing sticks to it and it is a breeze to clean. Purchased this to test whether a further purchase for a larger pan would be worthwhile...and it will be! This pan is just a wee bit too small to be used for anything other than a single egg or a small batch of veggies...but the technology it incorporates is fantastic.

These little pans are well made, and they remain non-stick after washing in the dishwasher regularly.

Perfect for those gloomy days when a sunny side up egg is what you need

Awesome little pan, and yes it is niche to it's use but has been well worth it. Very easy to clean, gas been used daily on a gas range. No issues with heating, or material wear. I would suggest to be careful when using the pan on a stove top and obviously use it on a smaller burner if you do have a gas top as the size and where the handle is located can get burned on a large burner. Using it for stir fry and any other dish that needs an egg on top, has been really nice for quick cook to clean and no issues. Recommended for those that enjoy an egg on top of anything, and limit your over all mess.

Not As Advertised

This pan is 5 inches diameter, it says so right on the sleeve the pan is wrapped in; it is not 7.5 inches diameter as stated in the description. It is very small, with high sides, so it would be perfect for one single egg and nothing more, but we did expect a 7.5 inch pan so returned it without trying it. Because of that, I can’t speak to any other aspects of the pan.
