Straw is like a baby's bottle, hard to drink from

It's a cute bottle, made in China. I love the handle and it looks sleek and is easy to carry. I was surprised to see the straw was like a nib on a baby's bottle. My 4 year old said he couldn't get anything out. I tried and it was difficult, you need to almost chew and use a lot of suction. I read the other reviews and someone else mentioned the same, and they cut the middle bit of the straw. I did the same, I cut the middle part at the top of the straw (just the middle bit to make a small square, not affecting the length of the straw). It's much easier to drink from now. It seems to still be leak proof. I wish it came in more gender neutral colours. Still looking for a good water bottle made in UK or Europe!

Best leakproof bottle I've bought for my toddler

Expensive for it to only last a month.

Love the fact it is leak proof, haven’t had any issues with it leaking at all. My daughter is able to drink out of it with or without the straw which is great. Only downfall I’ve had is that the spring in the lid has come out and broken, which is obviously a floor in the design it’s not very durable. I’ve come back on to order another one as a replacement as my daughter likes it so much and it’s almost doubled in price.
