Sorry to be lazy but I'm going to just copy paste my review for the very similar (but better, imho) Tactical model from Sellstrom. I bought these at the same time and will be returning them because the Tactical are just more comfortable (and not blue) - but these are quite nice. Maybe best for wearing for shorter periods. Again, review is mostly on the Tactical model, but comparisons with the various Sellstrom models may be helpful: I wasn't seeing this model in amazon's suggestions, but found it after browsing Sellstrom's website to try to learn more about their offerings. Basically they're all the same Odyssey II frame, just made in different materials and with or without the indirect vents. The tactical model here is a nice blend between the Wildland Firefighter model and the standard Odyssey blue ones. The frame material is a soft flexible rubber rather than the blue vinyl or whatever that's used on the standard version. Frame design permits it to squish and conform to the face but this rubber does that more softly/better than the vinyl does. It does still have the nose bridge slits for a good fit although you can't see this in the product photos because it's obscured by a thin layer of smooth squishy foam that provides a better face seal (as on the Wildland model). So it's softer, seals better than the standard, and is vented, unlike the Wildland. That's what I wanted, very happy. And a neutral color. I wear eyeglasses that are fairly small, oval lenses, and they fit great in these without contact or interference when putting them on/taking them off, quite comfortable to wear. If your glasses are midsize you may not like these, and large lenses or wide frames are mostly likely a no-go. The peripheral vision is fantastic for goggles and I don't feel at all hindered when working at the grinder or drill press and needing to peer at various angles/distances. It feels pretty close to the visual freedom of a face shield rather than goggles. The lens did arrive in clear, not smoke, which I was happy about. Sellstrom's catalog doesn't even show this model sold with the smoke lens, but the smoke lens is available separately...the seller needs to fix this listing I guess. I also ordered the blue Odyssey II model at the same time for comparison, and will be returning those because they still fit well and are so similar, but these tactical ones just feel better and I think maybe fit a little better, too (softer fit if that makes sense). Picked up an extra clear lens for pretty cheap on here, just in case these were in fact smoke...now I've got an extra lens for when it's needed. No fogging yet but y'know it's going to happen with any basic goggle sooner or later if conditions are right. The lens is actually a sealed double pane, plastics separated by a thin open cell foam strip - good approach to fogging prevention, for awhile. Lots of vents on the top and bottom, so these probably aren't great for extended time with super fine dust like wood or sheetrock sanding...would be easy to seal off some or all of them if desired (or just buy the Wildland model instead). I can say so far that it keeps out overhead chainsaw debris just fine. Glad the pricing has returned to normal/reasonable levels...much over fifteen bucks is robbery and that's pushing it. But they are great quality and you can do a lot worse even from some of the big standard brands like Uvex, 3M, and Bolle (and Dewalt I guess...).
