Quality Hose with ok Sprayer

I have found this hose to be serviceable so far, but it is a little stiff if you intending to try and stretch it across your entire boat. For cleaning up around the area where it located, it serves its purpose and is worth the price, and I did not experience any leaks at either of the two connection points. I will note that the spray nozzle seems like relatively cheap plastic.

Great hose for your Vessel !!!

This is a great product . I am a Master Captain and have been doing Deep sea Charters for over 20 years . I've seen some poor reviews that do not even make sense . I have just installed this wash down hose and nozzle on my boat for the second time , the first one Lasted 11 years . Sea Choice is a great product don't be fooled by inexperienced boaters (buyers) that dont even know what or why they even orded this item . 5 STAR All the Way ! The Captain

3 design flaws

I will keep it, but it has 3 design flaws: 1) after the first use, it did not recoil completely, even with no pressure in hose. It will reach about 19 ft, but initally shrinks back to about 6 ft, eventually about 4 ft. Perhaps the material cannot is altered by using cold water in a warm hose! 2) The male thread length is too short, will bottom out for common spray heads. 3) The hexagonal 'flats' section of the male end is only about 3.5 mm wide, too narrow to easily grip by hand; should be at least about 7 mm (1/4 inch) wide. The last two flaws could have been easily addressed by spending a bit more on the brass stock from which the male end is made.

Decent Quality and Works Good

I've had two of these, one on my previous 28' center console and this one is on my new 32' center console. Very impressed with both of them. The metal in the nozzle portion of the last one started to rust a little over the 3 years that I had it in the ocean on a regular basis but it still worked great so when I bought a new boat I immediately ordered another one just like it.

Pretty good for the money

I’m pretty happy with this for the money it’s better than I expected I’m sure the nozzle will have to be replaced at some point with a all brass one but far as I can tell the fittings at both ends are all brass and the hose does not feel like junk to me it’s pretty ridgid and pipes back to coil when I’ve stretched it out so far

Not very good quality

The free sprayer that came with this was junk. We threw it away immediately for a higher quality sprayer. Hose was great for the first 4 weeks, but then it blew a hole in the side of the hose and is completely worthless. I have a pressure regulator on my home so this was not an issue of too much pressure. Just a junk hose. We do have the hose in a location where it is in the sun for much of the day. It could have been that the plastic got too soft in the sun. It may work for you if you can keep it in the shade all day.
