So helpful for occupational therapy after stroke

My dad had a stroke a couple months ago and lost the ability to move his right hand. I went with him to one of his occupational therapy sessions while he was in the rehab center, and the therapist had him use one of these Velcro roller tools to work on regaining his hand movement. My dad is an artist and craftsman, and is very motivated to recover his hand strength and dexterity. I wanted to get him one of these so he could do his hand exercises at home, beyond just what he does at therapy sessions. The reviews worried me because they said the quality wasn’t great, but the only other versions of this type of tool I could find were hundreds of dollars. So I ordered it for him. He is extremely happy with this product and doesn’t find the quality lacking. He’s been using it every day and it really provides a great tool for regaining grip strength and finger strength. He’s still on the big roller, but I love that this set gives options for more complex hand movements, so he will be able to continue using it as he progresses.

Product falling apart

Velcro was not secured to board. The first attempt at using it the velcro started coming up from the staples that was suppose to secure it.

The velcro on the one with the long handle does not stick well after two months of use. The quality is subpar for price.

Great for hand exercise and dexterity

Use this with my mother who has some limited dexterity in her hand due to arthritis.

This product is cheaply made and useless.

I would give zero stars if I could. This product is not made well at all. The velcro is loosely attached. They use many small staples some of which are not flush with wood and can injure someone. I have used a similar product that was much better quality. This is not worth the money and I recommend not buying it.
