Made in USA and a good value

Our granddaughter enjoyed the first doctor's kit we bought for her to play with at home that I ordered another one for her to play with at our house, too. Dolls, stuffed animals and grandparents have all had checkups now.

Really disappointed in product

I ordered because product was made in USA but I couldn’t been more disappointed. First of all the product came in a box then in this paper lunch bag (pictured). It felt like maybe it had been used before. The quality of the toys are decent but not great. I like to buy sustainable toys that last through many children. These won’t make it, sadly. The product looks uncompleted or has missing parts which also makes me think it came to me used. I’d return if the box didn’t get thrown away with the chaos of Christmas morning.

Would recommend

Bought this set to replace some other doctor sets my child had because of material safety concerns. So, comparing this set to those, there are a few things that could be improved upon. The tool to check ears could be improved by removing the plastic that blocks the view through the hole. The tweezers could be made to actually work a little. As they are now they're useless because they're made closed. The thermometer isn't that easy to read and it's hard to turn, as well. The stethoscope could be a little longer. I think my child would prefer the rope to be more stiff, as well, but I understand it's probably due to the safety of materials. There could also be a little bag for kids to carry their tools in. I like the durability and safety in these toys, though and so would recommend. The stickers are a nice touch and my child enjoyed them. I also enjoy the emojis on the thermometer and think it's a cute idea.

Nice non toxic doctor toy

The media could not be loaded. Stethoscope was short for most to use and the ear part was hard for her to put on and not flexible. Everything else is great lightweight and without any chemicals smells which we loved ! For the price it was well worth it but I took a star off for the stethoscope. Great for kids 1 year to 5 - any older the stethoscope won’t fit !

Wait for it to go on sale

We’ve bought a number of Green Toys over the years and have always been impressed with the quality. This doctor’s kit is no different. The pieces are well-made, sturdy and designed for small hands. The reason for the 4-star rating is the price. I was able to buy it as a lightning deal at a almost 75% off, which made it a great value.

Good for toddlers

This is an awesome little set. Got it for my 2.5 yr old. He loves listening to people's hearts and testing relexes etc. The pieces are all sturdy, like every Green Toy item we've ever purchased. I do wish it came with a small bag to put everything in but for the price (wait for a sale, they have them all the time) you can't beat this. The thermometer has a piece you can spin to show happy, sad, goofy faces. My son can't do it by himself because it fits a little tight but he always asks "how are you feeling?" after taking my temperature. The tweezers can move like normal tweezers. The sheets for doctor notes might be good for older kids who are reading but I suspect they will have outgrown this toy by then. The stickers are fun though.

Decent doctor set

My child likes the toys and they are very sturdy. She is two years old and loves listening to the hearts of everybody and every thing. The dials on some of the toys like the thermometer are kind of hard to turn so they are pretty useless, but kids get the idea of the item.

Very cute

Came in boxed package. Giftable. I love green toys since they are made in usa and recycled. The stethoscope has cotton rope instead of plastic as the cord which I like. My only complaint is that some of the features are hard to turn for little, or big, hands.. the thermometer has a dial you can turn to change happy or sad faces but it's so hard to turn. Otherwise my 3 year old loves these.

Good set

Overall, a good, safe and durable kit with enough key pieces. The stethoscope isn't very adjustable and falls off my 3-year-old's ears, frustrating him. This is a fair trade off considering the unsafe materials (i.e. PVC) and lesser quality of other plastic doctor's kits. It would be nice if this kit came with a reusable storage bag. It arrived packaged in a paper bag within the cardboard box - no plastic packaging. Would recommend.

Overall very happy with the toy

Overall this is is great product. I was pleased to find a doctors kit that was suitable for under 3s. My only annoyance with it was that despite it being about good for the planet and a green product etc, the toys came in a plastic throw away bag!
