Long term project...

Amazing puzzle that I try to work on daily. The packaging is robust and sturdy as I have come to expect from Revensburger puzzles. One warning I have is that some of the puzzle ends can get tangled in other pieces which risks you damaging the image! So I recommend using caution and care when sorting the pieces. Another tiny annoyance is the blue "dust" the settles in the bags, so wear gloves if you don't like that to get all over your fingers. As stated by other reviews the puzzle comes in four plastic bags that contain 1/4 of the entire puzzle, and each of those are about 3' x 2' (since the entire puzzle is 9' x 6', plan accordingly if you seriously are considering this puzzle!). Keep the plastic bags as they have a serial number in case you are missing any pieces and need them replaced! Cannot wait to display this on a wall in the house! Next problem is where to find a frame big enough...

Quality puzzle

It took 4 years for me to assemble this puzzle, doing 1 panel each winter. I bought a lifetime expandable pub table and a piece of sheet plywood cut into 1/3rds that I used to assemble, with a tablecloth. Then I used a lot of pieces of cardboard for puzzle trays. The last panel I assembled in 4 weeks. I found the fastest path to not pre-sort, but just lay them all out on cardboard, and then start assembling by color. Once each panel is done, I found it easier to store in 1/4 pieces under a couch. I'm pretty much exclusively choosing Ravensburger puzzles from now on, the quality is fantastic.

Great Puzzle

As per Ravensburger soft click technology, the pieces fit amazingly well. Each of the four bags is well labelled, and the is information brochure easily readable. It is the third of their 18 000 piece puzzles that I am building, and enjoying it immensely.

Amazing Design but Quality Issues!

The picture looks much better in the poster provided inside the box than looking at the small image on the box. No doubt Ravensburger chooses it's images for puzzles very well. The quality of the puzzle doesn't stand up to the standards of Ravensburger. I've had other puzzles from Ravensburger - 1000, 1500, 3000 pieces and the cut and quality was amazing! This one however isn't all that good.. the pieces fit perfectly in more than one place and for some reason I even find the overall quality of the product to be mediocre considering the cut and materials used for making it (For which Ravensburger is said to be the best). The quality is NOT bad, it's just not up to Ravensburger's standards. I wouldn't really recommend buying it. But if the image means everything to you, then it is absolutely worth it.

Absolutely Beautiful Puzzle

This colors in the puzzle are amazing! WE are only in the beginning stages as it is a huge puzzle. Has been quite a task to do the 1st 1/4 but we are enjoying it! Great family time and beautiful scene!

Exellent quality

I bougth as a present for my mom she loved it, its really big after she fuinish it she glued to a plywood it look amazing, no missing pieces and the colors are great.

well no complaints puzzle was delivered early, appears to be in excellent condition (box is not damaged or anything) this will be a great challenge but fun (it's from my mother for me for christmas)

I loved the puzzle

I loved the puzzle, did it in 26 days. I do my puzzles in a room just for me. I knew one of the seam pieces was missing off panel B. Trying to contact Ravensburger to even get a high resolution jpg of the missing piece, just got a sorry I couldn't finish the puzzle. I send them a scan of the what I was requesting and they sent me a smaller jpg than anything on the internet. I have done the Educa 33600 African scene, and the Educa 24000 Life, just to donate and mount in old folks homes. I have completed the 18000 Bookcase no problems, it is very humorous. After many emails, they sent me panel B, so I could find the missing piece out of 4500 pieces. I love puzzles and have no room, but can seal them and mount them it old folks care homes, just to brightened up the walls. Thanks Ravenburger US for helping a customer in Canada!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful but huge puzzle!

This is a crazy awesome puzzle. Be sure to have a giant room to put it together and a lot of patience! I haven't come close to finishing this puzzle; I have put parts together and the quality is just what you would expect from Ravensbuger; excellent, vibrant colours with pieces that fit perfectly together and an anti-glare coating so it's easy on the eyes. If you want a challenge this puzzle is definitely for you! Definitely worth the price; just make sure you look at the dimensions and confirm you have space to complete it!
