Worked well for loose 1000 piece puzzle

I had a 1000-piece round puzzle. The pieces were very loose so it wasn't something I could flip over. I used this glue on the top of the puzzle after carefully slipping a puzzle cloth underneath it. After the first application, I let it dry and then lifted the puzzle up to see if I missed any spots. I did, so I did a second application. After drying, I found 2 or 3 pieces that I still missed. So I did a 3rd. Third time's a charm. Then I flipped the puzzle over and did a couple of coats on the back. Even though this was a loose puzzle, the glue surprisingly did not seep through much at all. Just a few tiny spots stuck lightly to the cloth but came up easily. It's very clear glue. You can't see it or any streaks. It's so clear, it's difficult to see where you've already applied it. But overall, I'm pretty happy with it. The whole bottle covered multiple coats front and back. I hung the puzzle on the wall with no frame.

TIP: Warm in Hot Water Immediately Before Use

I tested this glue at room temperature on a "test puzzle" with pieces missing. Like other reviewers, I had difficulty spreading the glue before it dried, and the spreader occasionally pulled up pieces. Before using this on a puzzle I intended to frame, I warmed it up in a glass of hot water. I replaced the hot water twice until the glue was very warm to the touch, but not hot (110F/43C if I had to guess). I also avoided shaking the bottle to prevent bubbles from forming. The glue spread wonderfully without pulling up pieces. I started in the middle, using about a tablespoon at a time, and worked my way to the outside, spreading out any globs before using more. For a circular puzzle about 18" in diameter, I used about 3-4 tablespoons to cover it entirely in a very thin layer of glue.

It was easy to apply and held my puzzle together really well. Definitely 5 stars ????. I did 1 18 x 24 puzzle and enough for almost another one.

Glue is very thick, picked up pieces of puzzle when applying

I used this on a wooden puzzle. The glue is very thick, as I was applying the glue it picked up pieces of my puzzle, and trying to put them back in place was difficult. I wish I would have used it on the back of the puzzle first, but the directions said to glue the front. When I checked the next day to see if the puzzle was dry, parts were tacky which pulled the glue up into a bubble. I am going to heat those spots with a hair dryer to see if I can correct the bubbles. If I can't correct the bubbles I would give it 2 stars.

It did the job of preserving for framing the puzzle.

I liked the glue very much. It hardenedd quickly and clear. I would use it again.

Worked great.

Works really well. My daughter used it on a big puzzle and I was surprised at how well it worked. The only thing that I noticed is as it drys it shrinks and bows the puzzle. Not a big deal as I flipped it over and put a fue books on it over night and the bow was gone. Next time I purchase this glue I'll order a 2nd one to do the back as well . Definitely recommend.
