SUPER WORK SHIRTS!

GOOD QUALITY AND NICE MATERIAL. FITS A LITTLE LARGE WHICH IS NOT A BAD THING UNLESS IT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU. ONLY THING IT NEEDS TO BE PERFECT IS ANOTHER BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM. IF YOU DONT TUCK THEM IN THEY COME OPEN AT THE BOTTOM AS YOU WALK. OTHERWISE THEY ARE A GOOD WORK SHIRT. WOULD BE A GOOD UNIFORM SHIRT FOR ANY COMPANY.

Heavier than I expected

It's not a lightweight casual outdoors shirt. It's a uniform shirt. So the ripstop fabric is much heavier and starchier than I generally prefer. I suspect it will break in after wearings and washings, so I can live with that, because it's a well constructed shirt that I expect to last a good long while. My biggest beef is that it needs another button at the bottom. The buttons stop a little higher than my dad-bod gut would like. Take that as you will.

Don't Skimp on Quality! GO PROPPER!!!

I have worn Propper for about 8 years as a corrections officer, but this shirt was bought for a friend needing a shirt as part of a "Debbie Downer" costume. She loved how sturdy it was and that she now had a "work" shirt for the garden, house work, and other "dirty" work that would hold up. She was also happy she could share it with her husband for the same reasons. Now, I will tell you that Propper BDU items are damn near indestructible!! I have been out of corrections for several years, however, I have shirts that I wore for 8 full years that were already who-knows-how-many years old when I got them that are probably still in service with only a few button re-sews and are probaly only fraying over said buttons on the button cover flap. I have pants that I wore in rotation for close to 8 years that only wore out in the inner thighs after that long, some were able to be sewn back together and make it as it usually is just thread burn out and not the fabric. If you are smaller and you have a thigh gap- your pants can make it 15 years or more. They do not joke around! Also, this stuff (in brown at least) doesnt stain easy, and if you use shout or some other pre treat, it will wash right out. Ive had stains of unknown origin get set in but wash out a few rounds later... this poly blend is like magic. And, finally, Once you "break in" your Propper BDU's, I swear on everything holy, it is like wearing pajamas... they are so comfortable!! Even with a duty belt, boots, radio... (no vest in the jail) you are still somehow comfortable in these (as long as you do a military sleeve roll on the long sleeve shirts). I hope this convinces you to buy this specific brand over others such as galls, 5.11, etc- I've tried others, but Propper beats all of them out on durability and quality!

GREAT QUALITY

Great material, a little still until a few washings, but looks good, fits good, and quality as way above most other shirts I have bought. I'm 5'11", 180 fairly wide shoulders and an XL fit perfect.

Good value, solid construction, but be size conscious.

This is the "Dress Tactical Short Sleeve Shirt" on the Propper site, which is a bit confusing here on Amazon. This shirt is basic, button front and pockets. I usually buy Large (44 chest - 19 shoulders) in US sizing, but ordered the Medium given the reviews on Propper site and find it comfortable, not baggy. Threads need to be trimmed here and there around button holes. Optional badge/ID patch needs to be affixed as needed. Price in CDN was within pennies of US price on Propper, so save the hassle.

Not as advertised *** Updated ***

I ordered the NYPD Navy shirt in XXL. Buttons weren't dark colored like advertised but a marble brown / tan colour. It was advertised with shoulder epaulets strap, didn't come with any. Tags on the shirt said Urban Fashion. Not a Tactical shirt at all. Definitely does not look or feel stain resistant either. *** UPDATE *** The shirt was exchanged for the navy shirt. This shirt was as advertised. Identical to the picture and labelled correctly with the company name. It fits quite large so be careful what size you order. Very pleased with this shirt. Looks and feels "Propper"
