I got this set of 3Prepworks by Progressive Icy Bottle Stick Trays because I wanted/needed a way to put ice inside water bottles, especially bottles of sparkling water with a cap that could be tightly re-closed (to prevent the fizz/bubbles from flattening). Ever since I stopped drinking Coke and other soft drinks (or at least the sugary, commercially-produced ones) several years ago, in an effort to eat & live organic (and follow a Keto//LCHF [low-carb, high-fat]/Paleo/Primal diet) as much as possible, I've been drinking water, instead. But since I've never really gotten into the habit of drinking plain, flat (uncarbonated) water, I add some lemon or lime (or sometimes, infuse some organic fruit, veggies and/or herbs) and organic stevia to my water -- and when I'm craving the carbonated fizz and bubbles of soda, I use plain carbonated water/seltzer water (like "Ice Mountain") like and lemons, limes or other fruits & organic stevia to make a healthy (or at least healthier) home-made soda. The problem is that most of the sparkling water I buy, comes in bottles with very narrow mouths and I was looking for a way to make THIN ice sticks to put inside these bottles to make my drink cold. Unfortunately, THISPrepworks by Progressive Icy Bottle Stick Trays is NOT a solution, because the sticks are WAY too thick/wide for the sparkling water bottles I get -- and I have to literally FORCE the sticks inside the bottle, which ends up shaving off the sides/edges of the ice sticks (and getting me a bit icy/wet) in the process. Although I could just pour the sparkling water into a glass, the thing is that, at least when its in the bottle, I can cap the bottle tightly when/if I'm not drinking all of it at one time, and preserve some, or even most of the carbonation. But once its poured into a glass, the carbonation is lost pretty quickly and the drink goes flat. Not to mention that if I'm going to pour the drink in a glass anyway, then I have no need for ice sticks and could just use the regular ice-cube trays I already have! The whole point of getting ice stick trays was to have ice that would easily fit into the narrow mouths of water bottles. Otherwise, what is the point of ice sticks? You might as well use regular ice-cubes! Very disappointing, and the only reason I gave this item 2 stars instead of 1 star is because I liked how the trays stacked up on top of each other, and because unlike some other ice trays, it was relatively easy (not completely easy though!) to get the ice out of the tray. Other than that, I don't think this was a good buy! ★☆ 2 STARS!!!!
