Great ankle braces

It definitely feels like they protect and support my ankles but they are a little wobbly so I have to tie them really tight. I wear them for volleyball, but they're flexible enough that I haven't become dependent on them yet so I can still play without them if I choose. I sprained my ankle pretty badly a couple months ago and these really help to protect against doing it again, and have helped my ankles feel much stronger. These are definitely the best I have had by far and I absolutely love wearing them. The small bands allow for a lot of movement and quick changes in direction, without any chance of rolling my ankle while trying to move. My orthopedist recommended these and I'm really happy he did because they work so well! They don't last forever and start to wear down a little, so they will need to be replaced but aren't super expensive so it's definitely worth it. They fit perfectly in my shoes as well and they haven't started wearing those down either which is great. Would recommend!!

Comfortable support, note care instructions

I play basketball several times per week and ankle braces have saved me rolling my ankles dozens of times. I have been wearing ankle braces since 1997, am on my third set of these ATF2 ankle braces and have a few things to say. If I lace them too tight, I have major foot pain. A snug lace up and there is no problem for me. I wear the laces with thick socks and wear them when I try on new basketball shoes. My first set was ruined after only a few uses because I washed them in the washing machine with my gym clothes. The machine washing and drying frayed every loose end, lace eye and the laces. I'll never do that again. With my second pair I always rinse them thoroughly with warm water immediately after taking them off and then hang them up to drip dry. By doing this they do not fall apart or mildew.

SIZED BIG

I received the same Mueller ATF2 from my orthopedist after breaking my ankle by rolling it. Looks just like the photo. This was for my other foot. I wear a ladies 8-1/2 shoe and a small worked perfectly. The ankle support I received was not like the picture. It has been modified, and has fewer eyelets and RUNS BIG. A small should fit ladies sizes 8 to 10 (what I already have). This was TOO BIG and so would not provide the ankle protection I was looking for. I could not tighten it enough. In addition, it came from Michigan (to Seattle) and I have to pay to return it. Not the usual Amazon return. Don't know if there is any way to know that before purchasing. Overall this ankle support works great if you get the correct size.

I purchased this to play inter-mural soccer with friends. I have a weak ankle and this is perfect. Provides so much support and has stopped me from rolling my ankle on several occasions. I read lots of reviews before I purchased and the one thing that I thought misleading was how "slim" it was. It is definitely slimmer than most ankle braces and certainly fit inside the top of my soccer shoe, but its certainly not slim. This is not a compression sleeve, it adds bulk. I'm willing to trade off the bulk for the support it gives my ankle. Highly recommend

This is my preferred brace because it has plastic stays for more ankle support; however, I have experienced several times that the stitching does not hold the plastic stay so it starts to poke out. Just noticed this on the brace I recently purchased, but missed my "return window". Mueller!! Please do more to prevent this from happening!!!

Just what I needed!

A couple months ago I sprained my ankle pretty severely. My podiatrist gave me an air cast to wear for a few months. Not only was the air cast loosing its shape, I rolled my ankle twice while wearing it. The Mueller ATF 2 ankle brace is perfect!!! Its speciality is preventing ankle rolls. It has a lower profile, better support, and keeps my ankle in place way better than the air cast. ATF 2 has made my ankle very happy.

New material is a little uncomfortable

Would be a 5, but they changed the material and now it is a little uncomfortable. Will have to give it some time to see how it breaks in. This is my third ankle brace I bought from this company.

Had a previous ankle injury (sprained the same ankle 3 times). I use this to play soccer and basketball. Don't leave the house without it. It's my life line. Lol

Sehr zu empfehlen gerade nach einem Bänderriss. Kein umknicken möglich trotzdem hat man noch Bewegungsfreiheit. Bietet absolute Sicherheit gerade beim Sport aber auch im Alltag.

Sehr gut zur Stabilisation geeignet.

Stabilisiert das Sprungelenk sehr gut. Ich benutze es zum Fußballspiel und kann die Bandage gut unter dem Schuh tragen.
