Easy add to my system, smooth operation.

I was very quickly able to add this to my dust collection system - attached easily to the 4" PVC I have already installed. The gate is smooth to operate even after a few uses. With cheaper gates as the dust starts to accumulate the gates get very difficult to open and close, this has been smooth operating since I installed it. Great addition to the dust collection system.

My go to for quality

I use Powertec blast gates in my wood lathe shop to divert my dust collector from my lathe to my band saw. I got this so I can add a stationary sander to the set up. I love the quality of my Powertec gates. Solid. Well crafted. Leakless. Very recommended.

Frame Splits Breaks Easily

After only a few time use the frame splits open. The plastic gates are useless and you should get a metal gate.

Smooth operation,no clogging!

Installed on my jointer,the previous blast gate I had kept getting dust in it and wouldn’t close completely.this one has been working well and seals completely.

These gates are the best flowing, best sealing, and need the least cleaning of all of the many gates I have used. I have only been using these gates for a few months but I intend to replace all gates in my dust collection system with these. They are marked on the OUT side, follow that for best use. They absolutely do not leak air. I have one dust collector pulling from a 3-way junction that goes to three different pieces of equipment. I have a gate on each inlet and when two are closed and the other is left open the system is as perfect as I can imagine, no leaks on the two that are closed and full flow on the one that is open.
