Works great for sanding a deck!

I am using the 60 grit belts to sand my deck. It works great, but I wish the belts would last a bit longer. The sanding belts tend to separate at the seam. This seems to be true of any brand I have used. Perhaps I am putting too much down force on the sander? By my estimate, I will end up using the entire 10 pack to finish the deck. Personally, I think the cost of the belts is cheap compared to performing manual labor scraping and sanding; plus they do a much better job. I will give this product 4 of 5 stars,

WORKS awesome! no issues and for price cant touch this! (sing it)

Using these to sand OSB sub floor damaged from water. Using a CHEAP Harbor Freight sander! and i wear them out before any splits etc. at a a much better price than local box stores was happily surprised they lasted as long as they long have! would recommend and would buy again. if your tearing them up check your tool.

do not waste your money on this vendor

Don't waste your money on this vendor. I bought several portable belt sander belts at one time to save having to purchase one at a time. BIG MISTAKE! Every one of the belts failed at the glue joint within 10-15 minutes of use. It was a huge mistake buying from this vendor.

Complete garbage

I ordered the 60 grit and I am using it with my BLACK+DECKER DS321. I went thru the whole pack in less than an hour sanding the paint off my wooden garage siding with are large flat surfaces. They all splitted in half at the seam were the paper loop back. For comparison, I have bought some 50 grit at Home Depot and Home Hardware and one their sanding belt lasted longer than an hour. The grit itself was very ok. Sanded off lots or material and was still super gritty when the sanding belf broke. The BLACK+DECKER DS321 has a pointy end at the front and it may create more wear on the sanding paper than other models of belt sanders but this going thru a whole pack of sanding paper in an hour is not acceptable quality. Buyers beware.

Good Value, belts do not stand up well

I am using these belts to sand a cedar deck and was thinking that this pack would be enough. I am disappointed that the belts are not lasting more that 20 mins each. Better off buying the higher quality 3 pack of belts at Home Depot than this set.
