I had hoped with this product to "highlight" the gray and make my hair shiny, but it did not. Perhaps this was an incorrect shampoo for my hair since I did not have a yellowing problem. The result was a dingy gray, which I got cut off and what revealed was my natural salt and pepper. However, like with any product like this, you need a good amount of time to see whether you have good results or bad; 4 weeks is not enough. So I'm not able to get a refund, but like I said, probably my fault for getting this shampoo to begin with. It might be a great shampoo for someone who has a yellowing problem.

This is the best shampoo I have EVER used! My gray/white is just gorgeous. It shines and is so soft. No longer feel like straw and is just silky. Love it!

Definitely non-yellowing
I bought this to keep my dyed white hair very white with hopes of giving it a bit of a purple tint. With washing every other day, I do get an extremely slight violet tint, but definitely it does not turn yellow. Will buy again.

Natural Purple Shampoo For My Blonde Hair
I love this purple shampoo to brighten my blonde hair. I like that the ingredients are all natural. It works much better than the less expensive products. It does not lather like your chemical shampoo's which is fine with me.

This really works well
This is a really effective at clearing yellowing hair colour. I bought it first on the Continent and was thrilled to find it on Amazon! it really does have a great effect. Don’t be put off by the really dark purple of the shampoo! I use it every 5 or 6 washes to keep my very pale blonde hair a beautiful silvery colour. I can recommend this product.

The manufacturer says nothing has been taken out of this shampoo but it is certainly not the same as the one they sold in a tinned container. This one does not brighten hair at all, I also noticed that it left a very noticeable purple colour on hair which just looks ridiculous not happy will NEVER purchase this again

Well, I Love this shampoo, It does what it's supposed to and doesn't leave your hair as purple as others can. But dont leave it on too long. However they have altered the formula recently and the smell has changed. This is likely my personal view- I'm not fond of it. So dissapointed there.

A really good shampoo which is helping to even out the difference between my bleached blonde ends and grey roots. Only use on alternate washes or it will give a blue hue!

Phyto shampoo gave me an allergic reaction.
Unfortunately this shampoo has given me a nasty ALLERGIC REACTION. It was pretty much immediate. It is ironic because I shopped colouring my hair because my scalp become sensitive. This Phyto shampoo has given me an itchy scalp. BEWARE that it has Sulphate, Parabens & Ethanol. All of these CAN IRRITATE your scalp, especially if it is already sensitive.
