I don’t understand the hype

Is it an okay lipstick? - Yes. Would I buy it again? - No. It is not moisturizing at all. I get the same result by just applying a lipliner as a lipstick. Having to sharpen it almost every day is annoying.

doesn't stay on for more than 20 minutes

I like Physicians Formula. Pretty much everything I've tried had good impact on my skin. Most of their product doesn't make my skin itch like other companies claim to be hypoallergenic but I still react. It's safe and affordable for me when it comes to rashes and itchy skin.

Not glossy

The name of the product is a little misleading. This isn't very glossy at all and applies more like a lip crayon. The color is very accurate though and stays on well.

No twist up!?!?

I purchased the colour ‘ I Do’. It is the perfect shade of rose for my blonde, fair skinned skin tone. It goes on smooth for a crayon and I did not find it chalky at all. Imagine, however, my disappointment when I discovered that the lip crayon has no “twist” mechanism to further the colour portion. Are you kidding me? From the nature of the design, and the fact this is a Physician’s Formula product (usually well-thought out products), I assumed the colour would twist and advance. Not having this feature makes the crayon basically useless after 3 applications. It is a very thick crayon, so my extra-wide sharpener does not fit. Am I to whittle this with my kitchen knife? Come PF, you messed up on this one. Two stars for good colour, zero stars for useability.

Very smooth and naturally pretty

Very neutral and pretty shade that in my view can work on many skin shades. Not sticky, not too shiny, velvety and light - it’s very nice in my opinion. Didn’t dry my lips either. :)

My tip broke off and sharpening it did nothing.

I liked the color. I used it for a bit over a week when the tip of the lipstick broke off. I tried to sharpen it and it did absolutely nothing. A bit of a waste of money.

The scent is too strong

I am happy with the overall performance of this lipstick ???? except the scent. The rosy scent is way too strong and that is the only reason to give 2 stars. Otherwise it glides on easily and moisturizes the lips as well. This lipstick is well pigmented.
