Very good buy
I purchased these bulbs to replace the awful CFLs for this size. I was fearful that these didn't work for my lighting base with an integrated ballast, but they were compatible. Saved me money from performing an LED retrofit with ballast bypass for all of my light panels. The 10.5w usage is a huge plus when compared to the 26w CFLs. I'm happy with the investment and feel fortunate they are compatible.

These are almost as good as commercial LED downlights.
The color temp 2700-3000K, and output making them suitable for any 10’ or lower mourning height. These bulbs are direct drop into former GTQ sockets that held PL 13/26W lamps. In other words you leave the old transformer I place. I had new construction housings, which means I would have to cut 14x14 holes or really remove the.ceiling drywall to change out the existing housings —which which usually has the transformer integrated. finally a descent perform LED lamp. It’s only one flaw, is the CRI is only 89. Best practices , and certain states, require residential LED lamps to be 90 CRI or higher. Still it has good color quality.

Great replacement for the garbage CFL lamps
County code required me to put in CFL lighting in my kitchen and laundry room back when we remodeled and the CFL lamps just don’t last, are expensive, and need special disposal due to the mercury. These LED warm lamps put out great warm light and so far have been lasting longer while using even less energy. I’m very happy with them

Awesome replacement for old 4-pin CFL bulbs!
We have a number of fluorescent can lights that we installed when we remodeled our kitchen. We didn't really want them, but we were stuck between the incandescent era and the LED era and didn't really have a choice if we wanted can lights. All told, the fluorescent can lights were as terrible as we thought they'd be - they didn't produce enough light, took a while to warm up to full brightness, got dimmer (and redder) over time, and burnt out quickly due to all of the on/off activity required of kitchen lighting. We ended up using our T8 tube lighting as primary lighting because the cans weren't bright enough. After installing these bulbs the can lights are now everything we wanted them to be. They turn on instantly, have great color and best of all they're SUPER bright! Even though these carry the same 1200 lumen rating as the CFL bulbs they replaced, they're far far brighter than the CFL "equivalent". With these bulbs we can now actually use our can lights as primary lighting! With the diffusers built into our fixtures the cans emit a nice even glow that lights up the entire room very well. These bulbs are supposed to be dimmable but we don't have dimmable fixtures (as far as we know) so I can't speak to how well they dim, but our experience with other Philips LED bulbs has been fantastic in that regard. The old bulbs are rated for 1800 hours of life and use more than twice the power (26W vs 10.8W). According to the packaging, these are rated for 32 YEARS - how do they even test that? Unless one of them fails these are likely the last bulbs I'll ever install in the kitchen. One note about these bulbs - they do require electronic ballast. Philips has a compatibility list on their site and you should definitely check that before purchase. I was happy to find these since it meant I didn't have to futz with the ballast or wiring. For what I paid (about $60 with tax) these were an absolute bargain.

Tried soo many...
I tried SO MANY G24Q bulbs! I've had so many issues with them. Most of them only last a week to maybe a month. This is by far the BEST! I would highly recommend this bulb if you're in the market for the stupid G24Q pattern. I'm guessing the builder for my house got discounts on the G24Q socket for the ceiling cans because it's a horrible system. You have a limited pool of bulbs and it's costly. Either way, this bulb is for you, if you've experienced the same issues that I have. No more burnt bulbs. So far these have lasted months and it's still working. I like the soft glow that these emit. Instead of the hospital-like color, I see in most G24Q bulbs. Good job Philips on a good product!
