CHECK YOUR O-RINGS

Bought this Pentair Everpure H-54 Quick-Change Filter. Prime delivered it the next day. I installed it following the manufacturer's instructions and it immediately started leaking. I re-installed the old filter; no leaks. I contacted Pentair because Amazon told me to. Pentair told me Amazon handles warranty issues. Just before hanging up with Pentair, the nice lady threw out a comment, "maybe you should exchange the o-rings with the old unit." I did just that and the new unit is installed without leaks.

Wonderful seller

Thank you very much to the seller for replacing my initial cartridge so quickly! The initial cartridge kept leaking, despite the fact that I replaced the "head" with a brand new head and I greased the o-rings as advised. The new cartridge arrived 2 days after I complained and fits perfectly. I appreciate your quick and efficient response and am very glad the new cartridge works as it is supposed to!

Makes a big difference in the taste of our water.

Moved to Florida and was suprised to find how awful the water was. We have a filter in our fridge for drinking water and it just wasn't cutting it. Do we added this to the line and it has made a big difference. It is easy to install and lasts about a year.

Does what we expect...

My grandfather gave me the filter system years ago. I've purchased this filter a couple of times a year for probably ten or more years. It gives clean water and saves us from having to go get bottles filled at the local water store or pure water machine. Taste is just fine. When the cold water starts running slow, you know it's time to replace the unit. There's a little "timer" that comes with the filter but after the first few times, we stopped using it. I wish they'd do away with the thing and charge less for the filter. After six months or so you'll hear a little "chirp" every so often. If you're like us, you'll wonder what in the heck that sound is until you remember it attached to a cartridge under your kitchen sink. It's just every so often. Nothing regular. You'll hear a chirp and then nothing for while. Maybe 15 minutes later, you'll hear a chirp again. Where did that come from? First time I found it and told my wife what it was. Second time, I was out of town and my wife and forgotten about me telling her. Really annoyed with it. I'd rate this 5 stars if the cartridge wasn't so expensive. It's actually less money at a place across town from me but the time and $ to drive over and pick it up wasn't worth me having to pay an extra $5+ via Amazon. Do yourself a favor. Skip using their little stick on timer. If you're the practical joker type, stick it in a friend or family member's house somewhere and drive them crazy six months down the road. They'll thank you for it, I'm sure.

Great Filter.

This is a terrific product; I have it connected to the water line feeding the refrigerator. It enhances the smell and taste of the water.

Works as designed

Great water filter replacement for my Everpure. I always like to have an extra one so when its ready to be replaced I don't need to first order one and wait.

Everpure Defective???

Usually replace this filter every 6 months. This one was replaced on 10/20 and as of today (12/28-just over 2 months in use) the water flow is very, very slow. First time this has ever happened but I did notice when I installed this filter, there was a rattle from inside. Not sure if it was (is) defective but I will have to replace it in a few days. Have had this system in use for over 10 years and nothing has changed water usage wise.

Too much unnecessary packaging

Great price! Came on time! I've been using theses replace cartridges for several years and they truly work. In a household of three, used only for drinking water, last for 12 to 14 months After a few weeks there is a little decrease in water flow. Too much, unnecessary packaging, that's why I rated it 4 stars

e' un ottimo filtro di lunga durata e di facile sostituzione. Compie il lavoro egregiamente

Ritengo i filtri everpure degli ottimi prodotti. Necessitano del montaggio del portafiltro ovviamente e dei tubi dedicati al circolo dell'acqua. I filtri hanno un attacco a baionetta estremamente comodo ed affidabile. Bisogna scegliere il codice del filtro in base alle necessita di filtraggio. Il modello in questione, H54, oltre ad addolcire l'acqua ed a eliminare il sapore di cloro o la presenza di sostanze spiacevoli, rimuove anche la presenza di sabbie o residui di metallo.

la serie H54 di Everpure è un sistema di filtrazione dell'acqua progettato per rimuovere i sedimenti e il cloro dall'acqua, migliorando il gusto e l'odore dell'acqua. Il sistema è facile da installare e mantenere, e l'acqua filtrata è notevolmente migliore rispetto all'acqua non filtrata
